This home made raft. No glue whatsoever.

Are the jazz pickups magnetic polepieces, or bar magnet underneath.
-
Is that £40 posted?
-
Hmm, depends on how good you are with a router or a chisel. But if its hidden by the PG, its not too important.

Got any sound clips? How does it play?
Yep they're good. I got two custom doubles, one a 12/4 and the other a 4/8.
Pros: Modular electronics on some models, zero fret, instant 70s rock sound.
Cons: the finish is prone to cracking, good luck finding spares.
The website mentioned earlier is pretty cool, and you'll see me on there
I recently exchanged emails with the guy from this site
http://www.grubersaberhagen.co.uk/Grubersaberhagen/Home.html
And he makes the pickups that match, as well as a few other pieces. So in that regard, you could probably get repairs from him.
Also, his rutherford build is amazing. -
attach a metal bar and use it as a whammy!

Try a little bit of copper shielding under the bridge to "enhance" contact between the wire and bridge. I've found it can help with buzzing.

I found this site

Although i picked up some sapele and pine at a local huws gray. -
Have you soldered the bridge ground?

Does it look a lot like a bomb, and can only be used once?
