Agreed to some extent, this does work a bit quicker, well it will once I get my fingers up to speed! But we do tend to play most things faster than the original, it’s part of the band in many ways. Mostly it’s just a bit quicker but we are trying to work this one into a medley, if it doesn’t end up working we will bin it but I want to give it every chance first.
! But we do tend to play most things faster than the original,
yea I’ve got a drummer like that also.

This is not the correct forum to tell any of my stories about Dave Hill from Slade II.

Indeed, it's nice if it sounds good on-stage, but as long as FOH sounds good, all that really matters is you can hear yourself..
I tend to play 100% better if I have a good onstage sound

Years ago I was told by the cokeheaded guitarist.. “ it don’t effing matter if they can’t hear you out front, bass players are a waste of space”.. oh yea and that was my last gig with his band.

It is the bitchiest business to be in.. believe me..

The Damned at Folkestone Leas Cliff, they’ve recruited the mighty Paul Gray back in for bass duties, listen to the black album there’s some great playing on that.

Tell me more about the red P Bass Tom
-
Ric 4003s is my main bass at the mo, I take a US or Jap p bass with me also as it’s the law, left handed.
my only amp set up is a Markbass Cmd 1x12 combo with an Aguilar 1x12 cab (heavy) sat underneath it, I’ve also been using a tech21 vt bass driver that I’ve decided that I don’t need anymore

never noticed that before, but yeah live vocals, I reckon or bloody good miming which, judging by the way they're 'playing' their instruments wouldn't happen
Vocals sound completely different to the single

Haven't seen that before. Absolutely priceless.
There's another one somewhere where they swap instruments... I'll try and find and upload it

There is a " Craig Bennett " on Facebook group " Bass Players Buy - Sell - Swap - UK only " offering a SWB-1 for £100.00 He also has a Red Modern player Short scale Bass for £100.00 and says collect only Central London!
Look very suspicious!
Will.
I was just looking at this and thought the same

I’ve broke loads of em, not so much recently as my amp has lots of power so I don’t need to dig in so hard,I broke the E string on my mm Stingray, moved over to the A string and broke that as well, had to quickly swap over to my spare mid song as I was totally lost.. beat that then, 2 strings same gig, same bass, same song..

73%, I must be a guitarist.

Wahaay.. I know you didn't wanna see this pic but it's the first pic I've ever (been able to)post on the mobile basschat

Importing a neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard & CITES
in General Discussion
Posted
It’s not just rosewood, I had to apply for some kind of licence when I bought a Gibson sg from Texas, they said the dot markers on the neck were mother of pearl , even after proving they were synthetic I still got stung for the licence, about £100 .
