8. Interested but how many computers has it been on and how many more is it allowed to be on?
9. Top M-Audio oxygen 49 midi controller added - £75... pick up only EDIT - I would consider trades as i am after a new external sound card/device and a pair of monitors. Depending on what you have for trade, a deal could be made. In terms of monitors, Im looking for ACTIVE/POWERED KRK's, JBL's, ADAMS, Yamaha HS50m.... basically very good budget - what you would expect for a closefield basic home studio. cheers
10. Bump - i forgot to add the additional info last time, so i have added it this time!
11. bump, a couple of people showing interest at the moment.
12. Just wanted to say i have added a bit more info and a couple of sound clips of how the bass generally sounds.
13. Hi all, I'm having to sell a number of instruments due to moving house in the next month. I have already listed a Bass in the 'bass' classifieds: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;#entry1364169 and now on to this guitar. I bought it around a year ago for £275 and then another £35 for the bag, i have barely played it and out of my guitars its the only one i feel i can part with due to this reason. As you can see, a string snapped, and instead of adding a new string i decide to include a full pack of unused strings so the buying can apply to their preference (and me being very busy ) I must state, due the how busy i am with moving i do not have the time to post, this will be for PICK UP ONLY, i live in Gateshead and can arrange a meet up at my house of somewhere in Newcastle city centre in you desire. Due to it being a meet up, i would obviously prefer cash is possible due to paypal fee's. Something we can chat about later. I'm sure if you are reading this you will possibly know that its a great instrument, if you don't feel free to check out the reviews on the following links: Ultimate guitar review Review centre Chorder review I'm sure if you want more reviews of the guitar you could find many more on google, these were the top 3 and i think they explain how great the guitar really is. Here are a few pics of the guitar: There's a couple of other detailed images on the photo bucket link below: http://photobucket.com/instrumentsforsale The only thing really worth knowing about this guitar is that its got 1 or 2 very, very small dints to the body, hardly visible at all and one of the tuning pegs has been replaced. You can possibly see this is the images but in fairness, its pretty much identical. If you wish to get in touch about the guitar feel free to do so via message on this forum, i will then send you my email addy to talk in detail if you wish. **** EDIT **** Also selling my M-Audio Oxygen 49 midi controller... £75 ono (pick up only) It comes boxed with usb 2 lead. Its basically the same as the one in this pic: I would consider trades as i am after a new external sound card/device and a pair of monitors. Depending on what you have for trade, a deal could be made. In terms of monitors, Im looking for ACTIVE/POWERED KRK's, JBL's, ADAMS.. what you would expect for a closefield basic home studio. Well thanks for looking and hope to hear from you soon, cheers mark
14. Hi all, Its got to the point that i am selling a few instruments as i am about to move house and need the money for that beautiful phrase in life known as a hidden the admin fee.. Brilliant! Anyway, here is what i can only describe as a gem of a bass guitar. Its non branded and i bought it roughly 3 years ago new for £175 (down from £200 with negotiations) from a company that claim to specialise in making cheaper alternatives. As you can see from the images, it's modeled on the trusty Fender Jazz. I play a P-Bass these days but the bass for sale was my main Bass and i actually used this live and for recording instead of my squire. Nothing wrong with the squire, but this bass, for a 'cheap alternative', is quite simply, bloody lovely. Why £75? (NOW £70) simply because i need the cash as i'm moving house in the next month, and in all honesty, i don't think many people will want to part with much more than that for an unbranded Bass. I did, and was incredibly shocked to find that it was worth every penny. I'll chuck in a Stagg Bass bag for that price but i must stress.. this is for PICK UP ONLY. Ive got lots going on with the move and i simply don't have time for postage, so sorry about that. I live in Gateshead at the moment but could happily meet for the exchange somewhere in Newcastle. For obvious reasons with it being pick up only, i would prefer payment on the day in cash if possible. Here are a few pics of the bass: And you can see a couple of up close pics at the following photbucket link: http://photobucket.com/instrumentsforsale You may also notice on that link that i have an Epiphone 56' Gold Top guitar for sale. The Guitar comes with a heavyweight Ritter guitar bag and a pack of strings. I want £200 for this and same rules apply in terms of pick up only. I will post more details about the guitar it the 'other' classifieds section. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;#entry1364172 If you are interested in either, please feel free to contact me via message on here and i will happily send you my email addy etc to chat further. ***EDIT - some additional info and sound clips. From what i can tell, the body is all one piece, the wood is apparently Alder Wood, it was described as 'classic alder wood' when i originally bought it. In terms of how it sounds, the following are the only things i have to hand with recording of this bass on it. Please keep in mind these are just 'live at practice' recordings with a small amount of eq on the bass, hardly anything if i remember correctly. BASS SOUND EXAMPLE The first track 'clarts' - the bass comes in around 30 secs in. The Second track 'The doctor of style' - the bass comes in around the 14 seconds mark. Although what you can hear above is a funk like sound, i have used this bass in a rock band too. It worked a treat in both elements. Thanks for looking and i look forward to hearing from you, cheers mark

16. I am quite interested on the GSR, but the postage seems mental, not saying thats your fault, but considering its the same price as the bass, its putting my off. Is the price mentioned for postage on the front page a realistic estimate?

I'm pretty interested in this mate. I need to work out funds but will have a better idea come the start of the new year. I won't be able to see 350, but will work out what I can offer. Cheers

Now then!

Hi all, what a cracking forum! I found this place whilst having a random hunt for the cheapest available option of a Yamaha BB414 and after finding a thread based on that on a google search, i decided to join the forum. There seems to be some great posts on here so will be checking back quite a bit. I have had a few cheap end bases oer the years, all of which i'd say were on the lower side of £200. Ive been playing for around 14 years and would class myself as somewhat of a slapper/funk player. I randomly picked up the BB414 whilst in a music shop in Japan and pretty much fell in love with it. I promised myself i would keep an eye out for one when i got back to the UK and now i am on the look out. Anyway, look forward to meeting some of you, have a nice new year! Fox
