1. Right Basschatters, here's my problem. I've blown a speaker in my 4ohm Warwick WCA 411 cab. I checked out the Warwick site and a replacement will cost in excess of £100. I believe the speakers are custom Eminence speakers although I could be wrong....any ideas? Looking round a few sites I see I can buy a full set of speakers for under £200 and leave the remaining 3 from the Warwick for future projects or for selling on. So, my question to you is what would you put in the cab, a complete new set or just replace the blown speaker? I want to keep the cab at 4ohms. I hope someone can give some good info. Cheers, Steve.

 3. Back in the 70's we were playing a charity concert that was being transmitted live to the whole of Central and South America. About 10 seconds into the first number my lead packed up and it seemed like ages before a replacement was found. I swear I had every TV camera aimed at me while I fumbled to get back up and running.
 4.
I,ve just got experience on the p-bass one and it,s a good bass for the money especially if you can snag one s/h
Thanks Bassmachine, very helpful. I've read that the build quality is quite good. I'd probably swap out a few things but the body and neck build is quite important. I've also looked at the Squire VM JAZZ but I've never been a great fan of maple fretboards. The Vintage jazzes look like a reasonable alternative.
 5. Hopefully I'll be able to come, depends on work commitments. Can I pay on the day if I can make it? Steve.
 6. I'm looking for an inexpensive bass as a backup and these Jazz copies seem to be getting good press. Has anyone on here had any real world experience with this bass? Thanks in advance, Steve.
 7.
Hey welcome to BC from another Yorkshire born Suffolk dweller.
Hi Andy, glad to see I'm not the only one doing missionary work round here.
Adding myself to a long list of people who can't help you with what size Allen key you need, welcome to Basschat
Thanks for all the welcomes, a really friendly place. I've done a bit of research on here and hopefully found the answer...it's 1/20in or roughly 1.3mm. Just ordered one from Ebay so when it comes I can lower the action and save my fingers.
 9. I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Steve, living in Suffolk but originally from Yorkshire. I'm just getting back into bass playing after a 14 year lay-off ( I broke my left hand in 10 places.....ouch) I was playing professionally for 7 years but then settled down, got married, had kids, the usual stuff. I'm slowly rebuilding my gear and just got a Hartke HA4000 and a Warwick 411 cab. My old bass, which is a Japanese Squier '62 Precision fretless conversion has been dusted off and still sounds awesome. My left hand is getting used to the strain but still has a long way to go but getting there. Well, that's me in a nutshell, not ready for gigs yet but maybe someday. One question from me, what size Allen key do I need to adjust the saddles on a Badass 2 bridge and where did I put it? Thanks for reading and letting me join your site. Steve.
