I've only owned 3 basses so:
First Bass Owned: Ibanez SRX700
'Go To' Bass: Epiphone Viola
'Your' Bass: Rogue Fretless
-
Now, are you SURE it's not a scam?
Better send it to me to check it out -

My daughters boyfriend saw the hat and said "oh, do you play the blues?"
How did he know -
Looks like I'm going to be there, us BCers should all wear hats on a jaunty angle to identify one another
Like this? -
I started playing bass last year as certain songs in our acoustic set needed more oomph!
Nights in White Satin springs to mind.......
I brought the fretless for that song
I have now sold most of my guitars and I am taking bass lessons.
Isn't life strange........... -
When I have learned to play with a pick, I will let you know.........
-
I have 2 with a third on its way. I sold some guitars but will keep the 4 i have as a minimum. I gig when available but nothing regular :-)

Moody Blues
-
I enjoyed the riff and the mix was good.
You could hear everything that was going on.
Good stuff! -
They still do vinyl
I haven't played a vinyl for years.
I think I still have a record player somewhere lol
Ok, I'll get my coat..... shuffles off in disgrace -

I logged on at just the right time
I have been looking for a cheap 5 string fretless to test the 5 string waters.
Will let you know how I get on after I pick it up !! -
-
I use the fretless for our acoustic stuff.
I have also thought of getting an acoustic bass but it would be a fretless one if I did.

Welcome aboard to the world of computing and bass chatting

When the note sounds the strongest.
Probably the middle........
Get a fretless and it all goes away -
Aha but that would be a lie!
Not if I still lived there.....
Actually it was Tewkesbury but it's in the same area! -
I wish that would happen for me.......
You will have to change your tag line of worst bassist in Gloucester now -
Anyway...it would appear that the quest is over! I've found a Gibson Grabber within reach...oh yes!!!
That's great news
I sold most of my guitars to get better basses but it didn't turn out that way
Still, I am happy with the ones I have and will add the Retrovibe later this year! -
Blademan_98 - May I ask what has led you to decide on the RV4?
I think they look really good and I can't afford a real one!
I read the thread on them and feel they are value for money. -
I answered yes.
I don't own a 5 string but the only way my wife will let me get another bass is if it's different to the ones I have now!
GASing for a 5............ -
I'd go with the Eurythmics type of thing.
Good strong beat.
Bit of distortion with background of keyboard.
Pop Rock?
Liked it anyway! -
Very cool
-
Personally I am going to go for the Retrovibe.
The list in my head is pretty much the same as yours!
I may hold off until April as I believe there will be a 5 string Retrovibe -
Bass saxophone guitars and drums :-)
