  1. Pics without the bridge added ground wire route underneath the bridge is 60‘ies style , small oval body weight is 2 kg
  2. Hi , pickups are dated 1970, neck 1971, pots 1966 neck plate is 280 xxx and yes, it is the original late 60'ies early 70'ies bridge the bass belonged to a luthier before who was repairing a lot of vintage Fender guitars and basses. He was cleaning it and refinished the body in natural, because he liked the wood grain. He said that the body is older than the rest of the bass, because of the lightweight ash body. I have to check and post the exact weight here
  3. Yep ! I will take more pics meanwhile, i hope this helps..... there is no routing beside the control cavity
  4. Yes, of course! the names escaped me for moment, that was the only one i remembered 🙂 .....perhaps just because i tried it and it worked very , very good in some of my P basses
  5. Hi everybody Selling some vintage Fender parts for a nice P-bass project : true 1960' ies naked feather light ash body , wonderfull wood grain the body was originally blonde, cleaned after a spray job and refinished in natural comes with the original bridge .Weight is 2 kg its fretted 1971 Fender Precision neck with original tuners, beautifull rosewood fretboard the truss rod has been professionally repaired and fixed i can split and sell body and neck separately ! the action of the bass is max 2,5 -3 mm on the 12th fret , which is not too bad for a vintage Fender simply fit it with a good pickup ( Lundgren, Seymour, Lindy Fralins which work all very well on this ash body) and a nice Emerson kit ( or other ) and you have immediately a very good vintage Fender Precision player for a decent price ! I can throw in , for some additional money of course, its original pickups which are dated 1970 , but these other brands do a very good job too , really ! for additional infos and pics, please send me a PM thanks for looking

  9. For sale my shiny 1979 Music Man Stingray pre ernie Ball in Tobacco Sunburst This baby looks like new, no dongs , no significant scratches. Weight is 4,3 kg which is rather lightweight for a pre ernie Ball. Frets are in good shape, truss rod works well in both directions Pots are dated 1979, neck dated early 1980 , Ser. B020xxx I have some additional goodies to offer with the bass, if a potential buyer is interested : an original vintage Music Man leather gig bag or a MM teardrop case. drop me a line , i will offer them for a fair price Shipping is obvious No trades please
  10. Just bought a bass from Geoff and i can echo the positive comments ! nice guy to deal with !
  11. For sale my Fender 1962 Jazz bass project All the components are correct pre CBS parts, belonging to the same bass, with the exception of the PG and the tuners. The bass is not 100% complete and therefore not immediately ready to play: The neck needs a refret and a new bone nut. As soon as you have done that job, this beauty is ready to rock ! The neck is very slim with a slab fretboard , dated 7 APR 62 A . The stamp is barely readable and difficult to take a good picture of it. The truss works well in both directions. The reverse tuners work smoothly. The body is very lightweight and has been stripped decades ago, it was sunburst as you can see in the neck pocket. You can see also the holes for the muting system between bridge and bridge PU ( i don’t have the mutes). The pickups have the correct purplish windings, the foam is glued to the bottom of the pickups ( see pictures) , i am afraid i cannot pull them out to make better pics. The control plate seems to have the original wires but two pots (VOL neck and Tone) have been replaced by a 66‘ and a 63‘ Pot . Original Neckplate says 80xxx , neck screws are original. New frets and bone nut are a small investment to make it a good player. If the potential buyer wants to invest more, he can add a period correct body finish and PG and improve the value substantially. I could sell all the components separately and get more money out of it, but i prefer to sell the bass as a whole project. I will donate the selling price anyway to those who need it now in these Corona days. A correct offer is welcome ! I have the entire bass for almost 30 years and i never had the need to put it together and play or sell it. I think now is the right time ! Contact me for more detailed pics if you are interested. Stay healthy
