1. I've got the Ibanez SR600 with the bartolinis. Great range of tone adjustability. Slim neck suits me too. Not a heavy bass and balanced. Play it through Hartke LH500 and 4.5xl cab
2. Hi my band One For The Road, playing the Waggon Chapeltown, Sheffield 9-15, Sunday 15th January. Mixture of covered songs from sixties to present. Fantastic female singer. All welcome. Usually do a 45 and 60 minute sets.
3. razze06, sorry the Peavey is loud enough for practice, its the ashdown mag 2 evo 210 that struggles volume wise. I connect the peavey into the full range connection on the Cab too. cheers.
4. Thanks, I run it through the peavey 1810 cab and only use it for practice. I gig with ashdown mag 2 evo 210 and 15 cab. Not been happy with it and it struggles volume wise especially without cab. Waiting delivery of hartke lh500 and 4 x 10 xl cab.
5. Ah that makes sense thanks, I have a Peavey 4 ohm 1 x15 cab, so I should get 410 watts power to that. Thanks. BTW Essexbasscat, I have the manual but I couldn't understand it. Thanks for the help.
6. Hi, could anyone advise me please, i have peavey mark4 head and 1810 cab made around 1983 I think. Can I run two cables from the amp head to the cab to get a full 410 watts from head, as I believe one line out gives 200 watts only. i have also heard a Y cable can be used to get full power. Would this affect the crossover on the head to control the cab. Please excuse my ignorance but I'm lost with relationship of Ohms, watts and RMs ETC. I only use this set up for practice. Its so heavy to gig with. Steve
7. I have the Ashdown Mag 210, have had it a year and struggle to be heard during practice, couple it to a 1 x 15 cab for gigs. Its OK through PA and tone is OK. I've been disapointed with it though. Waiting for my Hartke LH500 and 4.5 Xl 4x10 cab to arrive. wILL BE GLAD TO SEE BACK OF aSHDOWN.
8. I see the Aguilar GS112 is an 8ohm cab, is this ok with the peavey mark iv head? I dont understand the ohm bit and what it means.
9. Thanks much appreciated. Never heard of these cabs, but I did say I'm on a big learning curve.
10. hi got a mark iv head and peavey cab. ab appears to be two 15's and a 20 inch speaker. Love it to bits except for the weight and bulk. We are new to gigging and playing small venues. Looking for suitable smaller cab, if anyone can suggest anything. That is; a single 15, 10 speaker cab, or double combinations. Excuse my inexperience. Would appreciate any suggestions.
