1. !WARNING DONT USE PARCEL2GO OR HERMES!
Ihave just had a bad experience with a lost parcel
i booked it through parcel2go using hermes
The parcel made it to 2 hermes depots then disappeared.
tried to contact someone at hermes and told i have to go through parcel2go.
parcel2go only use live chat and email there isnt a telephone number to speak to anyone.
parcel2go have offered me £10 compensation for a parcel valued at £120
just read the online reviews for both companies , i wish i had before using either of these cowboys

2. The 80's Hondo ricky copies were quite cheap a nasty
try and find a Ibanez copy, thats what Bruce foxton used in the Jams early days
Untill he could afford the real thing
or the latest rockinbetters seem quite good quality

3. Hi
i havent tried The burns Bison Bass but i do have the Burns Rostill 1964 Shadows Bass Which Is fantastic
i previously owned a Marquee bass which was very disappointing compared to the Shadows bass.
but then again the marquee was a budget model.
These 2 basses Are as different as Chalk and cheese as They say.

regards

the amp is a Ampeg Which can operate at 8, 4, 2, ohms

5.
I admit it 'clouds' the issue of free postage but at the end of the day I WILL send it free with no insurance. Both UPS and DHL offer insurance for musical instruments BUT it isn't cheap to add the insurance... hence my offer.
Make sure if you pay for the extra insurance your item is covered
read the small print as some insurers will only insure guitars etc if they are Flight cased
but this is only mentioned in the small print etc.
so you can box up and package as safely as you like, pay the insurance
but if its not flight cased ,its not covered ! be careful

6. A Ibanez MC940 Fretless (AKA) sting Circa 1980ish
best sounding bass i ever played
i p/x it for a new korg M1 keyboard in 1989.
i have tried a few other ibanez musician basses but they dont match up to the one i p x d.
also a 1959 fender jazz bazz in black / rosewood board /tortoiseshell i bought it for about £400 in 1977
which was a lot of money then, i cant remember what i sold or p x d it for. probably something stupid?

if only ?
