1. Bought a Bright Onion looper from me - fast payment, good comms. What more do you want? Thanks Ou7shined
2. Used to have one of these - great pedal. Can do a very funky almost gated synth fuzz tone with the right touch from your fingers. Mid control is a winner. Also works as a very good clean boost with the blend set all the way dry. Bargain price too. This gent has just bought a pedal from me today - fast payment and good comms so deal with this man with confidence. Have a bump.
3. EBS Multi-comp High quality, very transparent and simple to use compressor. 3 modes - normal, multiband, tubesim. Tubesim is the same as normal, but adds more harmonics for valve sound - works too. Multiband mode will compress high end (note attack etc) but leave lows and low mids alone. Has internal trim pots to adjust the Multiband mode. Also has pad button for active basses. True bypass version. Great condition, couple of small chips underneath nothing major at all, no velcro, top of it (i.e. part of the pedal you can see) is immaculate. Still has the foam non-slip pad attached. Photo will not upload on here even though it's small enough so here's a link to it on flickr (NB the mark on the pedal next to EBS logo is not a ding in the paint, just some lint) PHOTO LINK: http://www.flickr.com/photos/76160048@N05/7152150289/in/photostream £80 posted (well packed and 1st class recorded) in UK mainland. 4. Morley ABY pedal Great for splitting signal into two amps - select between them or run simultaneously. Also select between two inputs to one output. Left switch selects A and B together. Right switch is A or B. Passive unit - battery is for LEDs only. A few chips on it, but perfect working order. £25 including postage to mainland UK. For other destinations please PM for postage price. Link to my feedback: http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1642260 Thanks for looking
5. I ordered this last week for a new project that is now not going ahead! I don't otherwise need the pedal so up for sale it goes. Unused and brand new. Have plugged nothing into it other than the 9v supply to check the LEDs. Cost £39.95 so have put it up at £35 including postage. Pedal is very well built. Switch on the left selects either FX Loop A (green LED) or FX Loop B (blue LED). Switch on the right bypasses both loops (red LED for bypass mode). Includes 1st class recorded postage to UK mainland. PM me for postage prices to other places. Link to my feedback: http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1642260 Thanks for looking.
6. Ivan bought my Big Muff, fast payment, great comms. Recommended
7. Thanks loz. They are my secret demons! No way would I be selling where it not for the lack of space since moving to London. These cabs are the bomb for any style of rock.
8. SWR 4 x 8 (early/mid 90s pre-Fender diamond grille) 240 watts/8ohm Adjustable tweeter Rear port Perfect working order, grille a little bit dented in places, one of the corner screws missing but grille is still plenty tight. Doesn't rattle or vibrate. Bit of flaky paint on the handle surrounds but the carpet covering is sound. Not at all bad for 15-20 years old. One of the original drivers (Celestion BG8-60) has been replaced by the previous owner with a Celestion BG8F-100. I'm a bit of an old SWR fanboy and bought this recently on a GAS impulse (already own a Henry 8 x 8) to use for smaller gigs. The fact is that I haven't got room for it and can't afford it, so up it goes. There is nothing wrong with the cab whatsoever and it sounds clear, true, punchy and brilliant - as all old SWR stuff does. Those 8s can deliver plenty of lows, and the cab is not really that heavy despite it being old school. Quite happy (and loud) with a 100 watt valve amp too. [s]£200[/s] reduced to £150 Not up for posting, but could potentially wait for a courier that you organise and pay for. Also happy to deliver for diesel money or meet half way. I'm located in West London. Bank transfer preferred, or cash on collection. 9. Thanks dood - it is a cracking little amp, and louder than the specs would suggest.
10. Marshall IBS 1540 4x10 cabinets (that's Integrated Bass System, not painful stomach cramps brought on by abuse of wheat products). 400watts RMS 8 ohm 1/4" input I have two of these available for an awesome 4ohm 8x10. Both are a little tatty tolex wise, one more so than the other (see pics). I removed the Marshall badges cuz they look better without them, but will include so you can put them back on if you wish. Tolex aside, they are in perfect working order. The nicer looking one I have had for about ten years, and a few years ago found the other one after looking for one for ages. Don't see many of these IBS cabs about, although the amps pop up every now and then. Very loud. Very beefy. Hard as nails. Excellent rock tone. Lots of lows, and it can also tear your face off. Simple port in the middle, no tweeter. Big and heavy, but if you're into those new fangled class D Lego amps you probably aren't even looking at this post anyway, right? Not pretty, not clever - old school brutes. These are quite happy with solid state or valve amps. This is totally subjective of course, but I will go on record here and say that in my experience two of these together with a good amp will wipe the floor with an Ampeg 8x10. Yes, yes, I know you're sniggering at the back. Did a 'metal' tour a while back and the other band had the Ampeg with a modern hybrid SVT. I had a redface SWR 350 into the Marshalls. Both the other bassist and myself ended up using our own amp into my tatty old beasts. We were both surprised - me pleasantly so. I don't know which model 8x10 it was, I know there are some different ones. Maybe he was just lazy! Like I said, my totally subjective opinion, so no offence to the Ampeg lovers out there. As far as I know the drivers are Celestion Sidewinders, which have a good rep from what I can discover. Either way the cabs are boss. Also happy to deliver for diesel money or meet half way. I'm located in West London. Bank transfer preferred, or cash on collection. Nicer one - £125 ONO (first two pics) Tatty one - £100 ONO (second two pics) Both cabs for £175 ONO Happy to entertain offers for quick sale. Also have Marshall IBS amp for sale, see other thread. Can do discount for multiple buys. Potential for cheap, loud, bulletproof rock rig here. 11. Marshall IBS 3520 Bi-amp 200watt head Selling my spare head. Secret little cracker this one. 200 watts into 4ohms Has pretty flexible and effective eq, you can bi-amp it or run it normally. Doesn't mind being pushed, and can get quite dirty if you wish. Also does clean and sharp too, and old school mellow tones. Has a footswitchable boost (no footswitch with the amp, but any normal latching one will do). Seems underpowered when you look at the numbers, but it's pretty damn loud with a decent cab, and especially with my 2 Marshall IBS 4x10 cabs (also for sale see other thread). Have been using it with keyboards and dirty synth bass most recently, so can push plenty of lows. Can be taken out of the sleeve and put in a rack if you prefer that. This amp plus the cabs is a pretty cheap and bloody good rock rig. Need the space so must go. £100 will accept offers for a quick sale Can do discount if you buy one or both of the IBS cabs with it too. Very reluctant to post, but could potentially wait for a courier that you organise and pay for. Also happy to deliver for diesel money or meet half way. I'm located in West London. Bank transfer preferred or cash on collection. 12. Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi w/Tone Wicker In excellent condition, one tiny little scratch on the bottom edge. Perfect working order. This is better than the Bass Big Muff, a lot more wild, more gain and not exactly short on low end either so no worries there. The tone switch bypasses the tone control giving you all the midrange that a Big Muff usually scoops out, it also makes it raw as hell. Wicker switch adds biting top end to it. Turn the tone control on and the Wicker off to get a normal big muff, so a few tonal options on this one. Sounds great on bass. £40 posted UK recorded only Pedal will be well packed and includes original box etc If you are overseas then PM me with your location and I will get a price for postage. Bank transfer is preferred. Thanks for looking
13. It has a strangely pleasant musty aroma to it, and not one that I can easily describe. I firmly believe the smell is a selling point, so thought I should mention it.
14. Having a clear out. The synth powers up and works, but not with 100% functionality. More useful (and fun) as a sound/texture/noise generator rather than a 'playable in a band' instrument. Good luck trying to do a Wakeman on this thing. Tends to produce a sound of some kind or other constantly, hence not much good in a band. Great for 'sound designing' and making raw material for loops, samples, soundscapes etc in the studio, which is what I use it for. Smells very intriguing. If you're an electronics geek it might make a cool project, or be worth mining for parts to make your own devices, I don't know. Lack of space means it has to go, otherwise I'd keep it, it's fantastic, even in it's rough state. Please note above text in bold. Sold as seen. £50 ONO (just cuz I have to state a price) If anybody's interested PM me and we'll arrange something or other. Make me an offer, I can deliver for diesel money. Not looking for a lot as it's obviously half broken and doesn't work properly, but it has worth and potential use as a sound generating device (which is how I have been using it) so thought I'd open it up to you guys before I bin it. Cheers
15. Free bump for a brilliant pedal. I use one in a two amp clean/dirty set up. The best overdrive I have ever used. £100 is a bargain for one of these.
