1. Whereabouts are you based? What kind of strap locks does it have - recessed Dunlop things or 'normal' ones? Cheers
2. Boss OC-3 Super Octave. As well as the normal OC-2 octave and 2 octave down, also has a drive mode, and two polyphonic modes (so it will handle chords and ringing notes etc). Very near mint condition, with box, but no manual. Photos (from phone): http://s1339.beta.ph...385822650027153 Bank transfer preferred. £55 posted to UK mainland. See feedback forum for happy customers - I pack pedals very well and send 1st class. Thanks for looking
3. One of the older brown ones from 1980s, made in Japan, black label underneath. Perfect working order and very very good condition - not quite mint, but very good. £35 posted to UK mainland Bank transfer preferred. photos (from phone): http://s1339.beta.ph...385822650027153 Thanks for looking. Check feedback forum for positive words on my service. Pedals sent 1st class and very well packed.
4. Interesting, I think the JAN I on my Dolphin is fantastic, I like the screw head type saddles for each string. Easy to adjust and makes experiments with strings and guages a doddle. What didn't you like about it? I prefer brass nuts, they don't break.
5. If you don't wear ear plugs when you perform then it is probably your ears.
6. Thought it looked flat. In the unlikely event that this still around in the new year and/or you don't ebay it, I'd be very interested. Wrong side of xmas for me though...
7. I will offer a slightly different view - in my experience string tension varies quite a lot between different brands, even when comparing the same guages (whether steel or nickel). I agree with iiipopes that lighter guages will have less tension than heavy strings. I find Rotosounds have more tension than all other brands I've tried (which certainly isn't all). I have found Ernie Balls and D'Addarios to be rather low tension - especially the D'Addario nickels. Even the steels seemed to have a lot less tension than the Rotos.
