1. Don't know what prices & duties you gotta pay in the UK but I bought mine from eBay, $249 +$40 post, arrived in Japan in 5 days & for an extra $25, the store will change it over to 240v, which wasn't needed in my case. I intend to get the MB500 as well before going home to Oz, get the voltage changed to 240v, keep the 200 for gigs while in Japan & have it changed to 240v when I get back by a tech in Sydney, and have a great back-up/small gig head . I'll sell my Markbass MKII & Markbass 250 heads due to reliability/trust issues . I may even get a GK500 210 combo which would cut for nearly all I do in cover bands anyway. Hope this helps out in some way. Cheers.
 2. Agreed, I've had a Nemesis 410 for nearly 9 years, never had a problem, sounds warm & great, does all I need of it, easy to roll or lug, fits in the boot/hatch, and made by Eden. I A/B'ed it with a "real" Eden 410 before buying & my opinion at the time was, "half the weight, half the price, sounds twice as good": that hasn't changed after about 500 gigs with it. Best value for money 410 IMHO, although the recent GK Ultralight range would have to be considered.
 3.
Just put my Lefty Jazz Deluxe up for sale but accidently posted in the Bass Guitars for sale section instead of here..... Hi All, I've decided to move on my Jazz Deluxe 4 string due to an incoming Shuker J5. Also I'm rarely playing 4 string at the moment so this is not seeing much action. Comes with original Fender case and tools. I had a black pick-guard made as I liked the idea of an all black jazz but it does come with original gold as well. The bass is in very good condition with only some very minor surface marks on body, no dents. Looking for £750.00. The only trade I would consider is a Musicman Sterling with maple board as I miss my old one, although let me know what you have in case something appeals. Click on the link for details (exactly the same colour and spec as mine) and will upload pictures as soon as I can. JAZZ DELUXE
Do I make you horny baby? Whoar! Thinking seriarsely about it, about how much to ship to Japan? Any flexibility on the price?? Cheers
 4.
Welcome to basschat. Also joined today and your collection puts me to shame. 12 basses - are you a shop. ? Cheers Dave Thank you all for the greetings & welcome messages. No Dave, not a shop officially but my wife would say so! Just astute buying I guess from Ebay & Yahoo auctions here in Japan but I'll offload a few jazzes when I go back to Oz thru a friend's store. We get royally shafted on import duty & tax in Aus so this is my revenge! Will post pics soon.
