Contact SiBob...though with the baby due at the end of this month/early April he may be a bit preoccupied..

Might be best not to bother SiBob - i'll order a kit and post my results here

  2. Thanks for your input everyone - i opted for the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 after some research, based mainly on cost

My initial budget was probably a bit OTT for simple demo stuff needs

It comes bundled with Ableton Live Lite - i would be interested to know what people feel about this software

    Cheers

  3. +1 to everything above - i had the pleasure of meeting John a while ago when my ACG-01 pre needed the treble cable lengthening to fit in my Stingray 4 - after consulting with Alan at ACG he suggested i take it John and he was great to deal with, a real gent. A few days earlier Stanley Clarke was at his workshop having his ACG-01 adjusted, so we JE/ACG users are in good company indeed.

  4. Hi all

    Time to let this go

    Sale only £2500

Built as a fretless, was then fretted sometime between 86-89 by previous owner, reverted to original fretless board by Paul Herman in 2007, with new nut

    Serviced by Pete in 2005

Brazilian Mahogany Core; Stained Sycamore facings; Ebony fingerboard with pearwood lines; Gold hardware

Condition: 9/10; some superficial player wear on body; neck finish excellent with one lacquer crack* on back of headstock between tuners, common with Wals

Comes with a heavy-duty aluminium flight-case with new interior foam; strung with new Ernie Ball Extra Slinkys 40/60/70/95; super-low-action

    * The lacquer crack on the back of the headstock is smooth to the touch and underneath the finish, if that makes sense
