  1. Am selling my Aria Sinsinodo 4 string fretted bass.
It is one of the older models, with 2 piece 'body' which attaches to the main part of the instrument.
It has a bridge piezo pickup, with vol and tone controls. The sound is quite 'uprighty', and has a lot of balls!
Ideal for travelling with, rehearsals etc or for anything needing an acoustic/double bass sort of sound without the hassle!
The bass is in near mint condition, having been bought for one project and then rarely used since.
Comes complete with carring case, instructions and spare new set of bronze strings.
I paid around £280 for it 2 or 3 years ago, so am looking for £150 or a very near offer.

    Thanks for looking,
    Pete.

  2. Having had a Stingray and a Sterling, the differences I noted between the two are :-

    STERLING
More variation of tone available (3 way switch etc)
    Slimmer jazz style neck
    Bit lighter weight

    STINGRAY (3 eq)
Overall bit louder and more punch (slight)
    Wider precision style neck
    Better resale value maybe?
    Looks just that bit cooler!!!

Both are fantastic basses, you wont go far wrong with either IMHO.

    Good luck!

    Pete.

  3. Having a clearout of stuff I dont use anymore, so here we have a black Aria MAB40 fretless in shiny black finish.

Its has 2 pickups (precision and jazz types) and is active, with a volume control for each pickup, active / passive switch, tone control and pickup selector switch.
Condition is excellent, with no bumps at all, just a few very light surface marks as you would expect on an early 90's bass. The neck is fine, and the fretboard is showing virtually no sign of wear at all - I have n't used it much since buying it new for a project many years ago -prefer fretted!
It sounds and plays very well indeed - would make a great starter fretless or spare etc.

Comes in a quality gig bag - collection preferred from East Yorkshire/possible help with delivery within say 60 miles for fuel costs/would post to mainland UK if absolutely necessary though.

Looking for £100 - anyone interested?

    Cheers

  4. 'Equalized direct interface' - that's a DI box to you and me!
The difference with this one however is that it connects between your amplifier's speaker jack output and your speaker cabinet jack input. Handy for older amps that don't have an XLR output. Its a sturdy metal box with 3 connections on the top - 'from amplifier' input jack, 'to speaker' output jack and an XLR balanced output for sending signal to amixer/recording device etc. Also features a 'timbre' adjust trim pot on the side,(but I've never needed to use this!)

I've had this for over 10 years, during which time its been used when I had an older Peavey amp with no DI output facility. Am now using an amp with one built in, hence no need for this now. It's in okay condition, good working order, and is passive - i.e. no need for batteries!

Looking for £15 plus postage (probably a fiver mainland UK), or collection from East Yorkshire near Hull

    Thanks for looking. NOW SOLD-THANKS.
