  1. Just picked up my new *old* '89 Warwick Thumb NT5 from Gary Williams today *you aint getting it back bro!!! :)* its absolutely incredible! it blew my mind at band practice tonight, such an incredible sound and feel with a perfect players neck, I'm in love.

    Thought i would show it to you all posing with her sister an '88 Warwick Streamer Stage II NT4.

    Enjoy!

  2. I personally love Ocean Blue stained basses, i had a Streamer LX in high polish ocean blue and it looked beautiful, i bought my first bass solely on its colour, it was a Peavey Dyna EXP and it was in a Dark Cherry Stain over a flamed maple cap with matching head stock, it looked the business, now i go for natural wood finishes as i'm a wood working guy, i don't think i'd ever want anything with a solid body colour or in black, except maybe a white Streamer like Lex's Casper.

  3. ...of interest i have done Newcastle to Portsmouth and back again in a day that was seriously not fun............... and i don't even want to imagine what that would have been like if i was going to Scotland!

    Of further note Ben! why didn't you come to my bands gig at Portsmouth uni on Monday! seriously un impressed! Ha!

    thats the end of my none thread related banter...

  4. Just recently bought this from this thread;

    Looking to get back exactly what i paid which was £35.00 : its in absolutely mint condition, has a brand new battery installed, never gigged by me, only selling as i'm hopefully buying Tredder's GT6B and thus won't be needing this.

    Sad as i have wanted one for so long... but hey i get to sound like a space invader again soon!!

    Pics on request.

    Cheers.

  5. Even though my Mark Bass head isn't the one in question i have to speak up for just how amazing Mark Bass amps are! i'd safely say you won't be disappointed with the unit if you decided to go with it!

  6. Hey Guys,

    Don't really want to put this up as i have wanted one for so long but like many others i simply don't have the time to use this properly, my band is almost gigging full time, i'm working crazy hours at work and my girlfriend is taking the rest of my time up, so i'm offering this absolutely mint MPC 500 up for trade, i'd be looking primarily for rack gear or effects for my bass i can use live ideally rack compressors and tuners, but i will welcome any trades, guitars, basses, studio gear, any effects etc if you're interested get in touch, if i absoltely had to sell it it would have to be £325 as i have upgraded the ram to 128mb from 16mb and it comes with a 2gb CF Card.

  7. Haha, i think my guitarist would be very unhappy if i rocked up to band practice with 3 whammies, he's the effects guy, he has a wah pedal in to a wheeping demon in to a boss pitch shifter and then in to one of those mahoosive Line 6 M13 Modeler pedals so he has a lot of crazy noises going on, I'll look in to the Digitech Whammy, see what it can do! Thanks for the help guys, lets hope it does what i want it too!

  8. Hey guys,

    Need a bit of help here, a couple of years back i had a Boss GT6B, one of the effects on that pedal was an Octaver that was controlled by the Select Wheel, and correct me if im wrong that effect allowed you to change the Octave Cent a massive -1200 Cents and back up to 1200 cents of the original pitch? in short it was very very fun and super easy to mess around with. My question is are there any Octave Pedals on the market that allow you that much freedom with a similar Select Wheel or Knob so you can shift the octave back and forward insanely quickly over a massive range.

    And as a quick note i know it would be easy to just get another GT6B but i really don't want to be lugging Nasa's Launch Pad Control desk around with me to gigs.

    Cheers in advance for any help.
