Has anyone had any dealings with them? I sent them an email on Friday, and have yet to get an answer.

They have good reviews though, so I guess they are legit.

There seems to be a craze on Youtube at the moment with people sitting at their computers and putting together their own (Improved) mixes and posting it.

This version of 'If I Fell' by The Beatles started off OK until the bass came in! 😁

After 10 mins of them laughing, whooping and seemingly having a whale of a time I had to turn it off. 😑

I have been having a clear out since I took early retirement last year.

Here is my 2017 Fender P MIM Standard in LPB. 

It has been fitted with Seymour Duncan SPB1 Pick ups as I found the original pick ups were a bit 'polite'

Originally, it came with a white pick guard which has been replaced with a black one.

It does have a ding on the upper forearm chamfer which I have shown in picture. You cant see it from the front though.

For an extra £30 I can pack it in a vintage looking tweed Gear 4 Music hard case.

I like the fact that Iceland have refused to make a Christmas advert this year. They are using the money they would have spent on the ad to try and give folk a better deal over christmas with keeping the prices down. Fair play to them. John Lewis spent 6 million on their advert last year. I wonder how much this years one has cost?

Just had a listen to some of it. Its not too bad to be honest, but there is a guitar lick missing from Georges 'Old Brown Shoe' which sticks out like a sore thumb if you know the song.  

Hey Bulldog by The Beatles. There is so much going on in the bass department I had to learn it in chunks. I still haven't got it right. 🤭

How much to post to London?? 

The theme from the 70's black comedy MASH has a nice bass part, although its buried somewhat in this version. I only found out recently it was Carol Kaye. Although the tune is a bit of a dirge hence its inclusion.

I bought a Rumble 200 after my little Mark Bass combo went up in smoke. I must say the 15" speaker makes a hell of a difference when I crank it up.

Denny Doherty from the Mamas and Papas. Although I believe most of their hits feature either Joe Osborn or Carol Kaye on bass.

Oh Diane by Fleetwood Mac. With its tuneless dirgery and boring dum dum bass line. Zzz 🙄

I bought one of those Vox headphone bass amps. I keep a pair plugged in to a bass I keep in the corner of the living room in case inspiration hits me. Much to my wifes annoyance. 😆 

Poor Elton looked in pain as he hobbled off his piano. Didnt he have a back op recently?

I always saw him as the obligatory eye candy for the ladies. I never really paid much attention to his playing. But I was wrong, he is a great bassist. His work on the first Blur albums alone is top notch. Much more inventive than the Mancunian Beatles tribute act that was much hyped as their rivals back in the day.

Watching The Lightning Seeds on catch up. Now theres a nice trip down memory lane. Dont know how many original members they have left. Otherwise quite enjoyable if only the girl on keys mike was a bit louder.
