1.
Trade for a Cort Funk Machine II?
It's a killer bass with built in funk wah and slap depth switches.
It has two bartolini Mk 1 pups and bartolini preamp.
Really offers a wide range of tones, I can sit there for hours just discovering new sounds.
My reason for trading is just so I can try something new, i've had this bass about a year now.
May be able to put a little cash in with the bass.
Many thanks for the offer Matt but Im trying to sell in order to get my hands on a Warwick thats available.
Ive never tried a Cort but good luck with the sale.

    Cheers

  2.
il possibly give that comp a run for its money

    pm'd
Still available.

This really is a top pedal signed and dated by Mr Hall himself. The sounds are top rate valve compression as opposed to modern clean notes, this thing breathes some heat into the mix.

Im really reducing my outboards as Ive reduced my gig workload so dont need so many sound options.

    A bargain at the price.

  3.
2 Tickets for STANLEY CLARKE.

At the famed Jazz Cafe, Camden, London. This is a chance for an intimate evening with the Maestro himself.

Im totally gutted I cant go so I'm offering the tickets at face value to BC members

£55 for the two tickets sent by recorded mail

    Cheers

Possibly trade/deal for an Octaver pedal
ON HOLD awaiting payment.

  4.
The fee is £10 each.

We've done this once before, about a month ago. After the set, he approached the landlord and asked for the dosh. The landlord said "No problem - you got my invoice?".

Erm ... what invoice? Turns out the regular House Band know that he HAS to have an invoice to keep the taxman happy, which is perfectly reasonable.

Ah well, double bubble tonight then.

Incidentally, having spent some time trawling the net I've managed to download some of the unknown tracks. I have to say I rather like the Louis Jordan one, which turns out to be called Caldonia Boogie. Jordan was apparently a VERY influential jazz/bebop musician in the Cab Calloway mould during the 40's/50's and I may have to get some more of his stuff. He's FUN!
Sounds like youll have a great time.

My previous comment was slightly flippant as Ive had it happen to me so many times but it all turns out in the end. I always learn something from being landed in the deep end.

Enjoy the night and let us know how it goes.

  5.
1981 Wal Custom. Mahogany and Schedua. Has the same shape headstock as the Pro' if anyone knows what that looks like. They changed the headstock shape later and moved the machine heads. Pretty well worn especially on the body but everything works fine. Comes with original (grey) Wal case. £700. No problem to come and have a play.
Any pics??

  6.
I'm offering my Corvette $$ around on a couple of trades, too. It's on the for sale forum atm. Never had a MusicMan before... Interesting?
Thanks for offering the Corvette, nice bass but I've already had some lovely offers which would take precedence over this one.

    Kind regards

  7. I wouldnt leave home without one. Flip down and up during songs....its great

Ive had mine for over 10 years and she still works wonderfully with very little maintenance.

Well worth the cash for that big bottom D without the need to go 5 String.

  8.
Unlike fleabay we have no way of verifying anything about newbie sellers. I'm not about to part with my hard earned to a complete stranger but there may well be a few on here who are a bit less thorough in their vetting of a bass related item or its seller. I'm well aware that there are those who will shout let the buyer be ware etc and tough luck if you're fool enough to part with your dosh without seeing/collecting it BUT we are a bit of a bass community... aren't we?
+1

  9. SOLD

DHA VT1 Compressor in custom Black & Red (rather sexy)
Hardly used and been contained in a pedal board. Slimming down dramatically on my outboards hence the sale. A top pedal that comes with a 12v power supply. £95 + p&p

    Cheers

  10. I tried loads of phasers and ended up with a little old MXR Phase 90, The 100 is excellent too but no better than the 90 IMHO.

If its too expensive get a s/h one, youll be glad you did :)
