Urine for a surprise when you play it though, really fluid movement up and down the neck.

Signal path - Bass into TU3, Aggi Octamiser, modded DOD FX25B into FX looper.
Loop 'A' has the EBS Trem and Unichorus, Loop 'B' has the modded, rehoused Russian Big Muff, Loop 'C' has the EHX freeze pedal.
Output into a Chord BOD 50 (Boss ODB3 clone).

The Hydrive cabs are brilliant, so much so that I sold my LH1000 but kept the cab. I played a LH500 through an Ampeg 810 last weekend (festival back line) and that was pretty beefy but not as refined or detailed as the same head through a hydrive. I rate the cabs more than the heads.

yeah, ditto. The thing with flats is that they'll run forever, so not that many players have experience with more than one brand. That's both a good and a bad thing....

Yup, never owned one, but all the encores I've played at jam nights etc... have sounded lovely.

I've had (and still got somewhere) a set of Ernie Ball flats - felt really good and not a dull sound either, really rich, deep low end. I've gone back to round wounds due to changes in styles, but the EBs were really good strings.

The good Dr just bought my Bass Bible, really good communication throughout and prompt payment. Pleasure to deal with.

Isn't the 'red stripe' series 5 or 6? That's considered a good thing around here.

Hi all, i've just found a brand grew, still wrapped up USB iLok key. It does NOT contain any software or licenses, but can be used for plugins for Protools versions that don't require iLok keys to run (such as PT 6, 7, 8 etc...), so if you need additional plugins for one of these versions then this is what you'll need.
