Agreed I've had a couple they are nice - but a niche instrument nonetheless. I paid considerably less and sold mine to a Shergold collector in France. It is one I regret moving on simply because it was fun to play though rarely used. The Hooky association ups the value of course.

I'm not really interested in trades although I still have a soft spot for Rick 4000 (single pickup) or short scale 3000/1 series basses!

It's a cheap price because things aren't really moving at the moment sadly.

Yes it's a great old bass and a bit of TLC would restore it to its former glory, however got to emphasise that this is a perfectly useable bass as is. Great for recording and has a neck that is in incredible condition.
