1. You probably know what these pedals do... EBS BassIQ - triple envelope filter - £80 posted (standard mainland UK) EBS Octabass Triple Mode Octave Divider - £80 posted. (standard mainland UK) EHX Bass Big Muff - Fuzz pedal - £45 posted (standard mainland UK) All pedals bought new by me and are therefore used but in perfect working order. They have been in a pedal board so have velcro on the underside. All have original boxes. I also have the EBS pedal power supply (daisy chain for 5 pedals) which I will throw in for free if you buy all three pedals. Thanks Jim
2. Thanks for your replies. Now looking for an M9 also to compare....never really imagined guitar fx to be used with bass
3. Having had many years of individual stomp boxes, am looking to try multi-effects. I have had a GT10b before - but found it to be "jack of all trades - master of none" with loads of stuff that was unusable. Am really only looking for decent Chrous, delay, reverb, octave, boost, fuzz and a bit of synth. Not bothered at all about amp modelling. I am just trying to simplify my set-up. The Korg AX3000B seems to have quite good write ups with the features I am looking for.....anyone got any experience of this pedal? If not, any other suggestions (need it for live work so I will need instant access to patches and will need to have by-pass) Thanks for any advice. Jim
4. For sale is my EBS Proline 300 Half Size speaker cab. 1x15 I have had this for about 18 months and it has been gigged half a dozen times. It is in very good condition. From EBS site: EBS ProLine 300 400-Watt 1x15" Half Size Bass Speaker Cabinet Built with the finest quality 13-ply Finnish Birch, our speaker cabinets radiate the natural tones created by the technology that precedes them. 6. Final bump before she comes off the market.
7. Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 5 HS - Limited Edition 2006. Black with Gold Hardware I am reluctantly selling my Musicman Stingray 5. I bought it new in 2006. It is a limited edition HS. I MM humbucker and 1 single coil (best of all worlds!) Rosewood Fretboard and black matching headstock. It really does look stunnning - especially under stage lights. My cheap camera does not do it justice!! The only damage is a nick to the paintwork (as shown on picture No 6). Other than that it is in very good condition. It comes with a limited edition Musicman hardcase with limited edition plaque. Genuine reason for sale - to raise funds for another bass! This is on e-bay for £1,350 Buy-it-now. See link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...=STRK:MESELX:IT I am offering it to fellow BCers for £1,250.

10. It is with reluctance that I may have to sell my lovely MM Stingray 5 . It is an HS - 2006 limited edition - Black with Gold hardware. A couple of scratches near the bridge on the body - but other than that immaculate - with limited edition hard case. Any idea what this is likely to be worth? I paid about £1700 in 2006 new. Thanks - Jim
11.
Anyone out there going to see Guy Pratt perform his 'stand-up' show "Wake Up Call" at the Leicester Square Theatre, London, tonight? If so, anyone fancy a beer beforehand as it doesn't start until 9pm...
I went last night. Very funny. The bass he was using looked like it has had a hard life! Great evening.

13. BOSS GEB-7 Bass EQ pedal. Its about 6 months old and in "as new" condition in its original box. New, these cost around £80. It will cost around £7 to post - so £55 posted seems reasonable. I haven't put any photos on - as I am sure you know what they look like! Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks - Jim
14. Weekend bump... Its on e-bay now (excluding the hard case)...so if you want it..SHOUT!
15. Many thanks for all your responses. I like the look and spec of the Voodoo Labs Switcher and Commander - which also creates true by-pass when not engaged - plus the ability to programme effects combinations. They retail at £195 each - so not cheap but would be the solution I am looking for. Not sure how the Wobo kit compares with Voodoo on price and performance. Thanks again Jim
16.
Where are you based ?
South Oxfordshire - but travel around quite a bit. Jim
17. Hi all, This may be a daft question, but is there any way I could control my stompbox effects remotely?? OK - here is the reason why. I have 7 individual stompboxes (mainly EBS) which sit on a pedal board. During most gigs, we get punters to come on stage and sing. Quite a few times, these people have spilt drinks, and accidently stood on my pedalboard . Also, the odd pub punchup with ensuing spilt beer etc. is not great for my pedals! So, I want my pedals out of the way - but obviously need to control them. Could they could be patched into a controller with a separate footpedal I could have on stage. I am thinking this separate footpedalboard would be cheaper to replace than £1000 worth of stompboxes. Any help appreciated. Hope the question is not too stupid! Thanks - Jim
18. I bought this effects unit new about 6 months ago. It is a really neat bit of kit with every effect imaginable. The looper function is particularly impressive. I am sure you know the spec and performance of this - but the Boss link is http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=942. Pictures attached (hopefully!) It comes with the Boss power supply, the instruction manual plus a hard flight case with detachable lid. I also still have the original box if you want that. It cost me £320. I would like £200 plus postage. I would also be interested in trading this for a lightweight bass head - think Markbass, EA, GB, TC Electronics or similar. Needs to be at least 350w. So happy to trade for one of these plus cash if appropriate. Please ask me any questions - thanks Jim
