This is a lovely bass, just most of us have other halfs that would remove our love spuds if we spent that much money.

Hi all,
I have a TC RH450 and a RS212 cab and i am looking for another cab to get the noise closer to my ears (6ft 4). I am think that a RS210 would make sense to as i would have a bit more sparkle in the upper range to go with the 2x12. Does anyone have this setup and if so how do they find it?
Kind Regards

Thanks,
I have learnt something useful today. -
Sorry for being a bit silly here but is this a Fender then? what is the Fullerton reference too? I really dont know my P basses that well and would appreciate some up skilling on the matter.

I have Lollars in my Bill Nash pb57 with extra jazz pickup added (by Bill Nash) and can say they are the best Jazz and P pickups i have ever heard. Mine also came with the stacked pots with tone and volume for each pickup, Like a 62 Jazz.
Whoever buys this will love it, if i did not have too many already i would have it and put the stacked pots in it.
Good luck with the sale

Datum hole maybe, is there a mark on the back of the neck that you line up with the hole to make sure its aligned correctly before you tighten the screw? Cannot see why you would need one if its made to fit properly but if its cheap then maybe that's why. cannot see why you would need it for spraying as i have not see it before, but could be.

If that had been black i would have had it, come on someone this looks cheap to me

I will open it up again and look for a loose wire but sure there was nothing obvious, will also try a blast of canned air in the pots and see how that go's before taking it to a tech.
Thanks for the advice all -
Hi All,
Happened again last night at band practice, however the wiggling and pulling brought it back to life again, no crackling involved just came back to life. Could this be a capacitor problem or something, will take it to a tech to check out but am interested as to what this may be.

Hi all thanks for the advice, i think something must be wrong with the j tune / volume pot, after moving if backward and forward and pulling it up and down a bit (i know it does not move that way) it has come back to life again. Cannot send back as maker is in the USA, however he has kindly offered to pay a tech in the uk to fix it so great customer service from those guys. On the question of the volume decreasing as i turn up the j pickup the answer is no, was only killing the entire signal when at full volume.
this same problem happened at a band practice once before, is it just dirt in the pots? When i opened it up i found some small would chips in the cavity.

I have an issue with my new Bill Nash pb57 bass.
Plugged in today and nothing coming out at all, removed scratch plate and looked at electrics that look good and squirted some switch cleaner in both the stacked pots and put back together, the the front pickup volume and tone is working fine now, however when i roll the front off and roll the back J pickup up i get nothing at all, no signal crackling or anything.

There is another strange thing that is also happening, with the front pickup volume turned up, if i turn the rear J pickup up to full it also cuts the signal completely.
The controls are stacked volume and tone for the P pickup and the j pickup.
Does anyone know what may be causing this issue?

Kind Regards

Hi All,
I won this in bass magazine and i cannot believe how good it is, yes it looks like its 60 years old rather than 3 months old which it is. Would not normally go for this kind of bass but i have to admit i cannot put it down, think this one may be a stayer, will look a little out of place against the Warwick Dolphin pro 1 and the MK Alembic but the sound is awesome.
Other must own one of these come and show.
This one is a PB-57
Sorry for the poor quality pics:
