Bargain price
Being a Lefay user ever since, I owned 2 Herr Schwarz 5 before getting the very first Herr Schwarz 6 build, which is still my main axe.
Think about buying this one and reselling it immediately for 150% price in Germany (just kiddin')
Guys, this bass overrules any other 5 I known. Don't hesitate, get it! -
being a 12min bus ride, I'll give it a go
-
I'll leave London on 1st October.
I really like it here, but then it's time to return to family & friends -
yeah, still in Richmond.
short visit to Denmark street was pretty fun, lot's of guitar mojo. A bas(s)ment full of low note generators, but only so much 6ers.
Had the opportunity to see some fine concerts in Pizza Express Soho and Chelsea, and for sure Boaters Inn /Kingston.
next Wednesday 606 club, wunderful Aubrey Logan. Big time!
next Sunday, Boaters Inn again, Mike Outram brings Laurence Cottle in -
it was Sunday evening
-

Great advice!
Thank you. -
this sunday I'll arrive. I'm pretty exited about this work stay.
Sent my Peavey TL-6 to our office adress, so I can do some exercises the evenings and keep my fingers engaged. -
1/2 mile from Pete Townshend's residency
one of my heroes -
ok, i'll cancel the trip.
cheers! -
things are getting more stable. current planning
- stay from July-03 to October-01
- small, but well situated appartement in Richmond -
Dates are not yet fixed. I assume 2-4 months from July on.
-
I've been to London a few times, as a short trip visitor.
I really really love this town...besides Barcelona and New York..hehe -
-
Let's return to rockin' Twickenham.
-
I'll work in our office in Twickenham, so being located in Twickenham or Richmond would being preferred.
Age 50, I work as an IT project manager.
Said that, I would like to use this work stay to explore London / London music scene the evenings, and on the weekends together with my wife, who would visit me. -
you mean: it's peaceful and sweet.
-
I'll be staying for 3-4 months in Twickenham/London for my company.
Would be glad to read about:
- concert locations
- jazz clubs
- funk and soul clubs
- possibilities to sit
- bass stores
- everything bass related
Cheers!

Mesa Boogie worth the premium price tag ?
in Amps and Cabs
Posted
Played for years the 400+. Thought it to be the definitive bass amp.
Then appeared the Mesa Boogie Bass Strategy 8:88.
I sold my 2 400+ and stick to the Strategy solely.
If you want tone, go Mesa.
If you want to save some bucks and get along with mediocre tone, go something else.
