Been having a look round at p j basses and think they could be pretty perfect for versatility...

Nice rounded jazz sound on the bridge, old school p sound up front, when mixed together gives a modern slap tone

I haven't got a stingray man

Picked up a classic vibe jazz tonight, like new in a hard case, just needs a new pot or it might just be Cus it hasn't been played at all since new 2 years ago

My fave precision I had was the Nate Mendel p with a thinner neck and loved the retro look of it, but as mentioned before I love jaydee and status basses the best so I'm only looking to spend small on the 'other' basses
