2. Make-me-a-silly-offer-and-i-might-just-take-it style bump...
3. Time to shift my Thunderbird, its a lovely bass but looking for something different, and a little more suited to my usual style! (Punk) You know all about it...its the good old standard brown with white scratchplate. No idea of the exact model or year or anything, I picked it up in a trade a while back. Plays really nicely, and all round its a lovely bass, I just fancy a change to something different. Ideally trade for a nice cheapish p-style bass or something along those lines, but ill consider anything with 4 strings! Pickup preferably from Bristol, but we might be able to work something out if you're further afield. Sale price im guessing around £150 ish? Although i'd prefer a trade if possible Cant work out how to attach a picture on here..but everybody knows what they look like!
4. Selling my Ludwig Epic Downbeat drum kit. Lovely 'Mahogany Burst' colour, Includes: 20" Bass Drum (Undrilled) 14" Floor Tom 12" Rack Tom (With cymbal stand mounting clamp) 14" Snare Drum Lovely sounding kit, only been gigged a couple of times, and played at home. Skins are nearly new, and very good condition all round. Really versatile kit, and brilliant build quality, as you would expect from Ludwig The kit is just a shell kit, and doesnt come with any stands, but ive got 2 cymbal stands and a snare stand i could throw in for an extra £40. Collecton from Bristol, I could consider courier, but i imagine a ball-park figure would be about £60ish, ill get a quote if you want it sent though. £380 (or £420 with the extra stands) (Or maybe trades for something musical..im up for anything!)
5. Bump for price drop, now £450. Ideally looking to trade for a bass head, but will consider anything!
6. Selling my Fender Jaguar guitar, not really using it anymore as I'm playing bass in my main band now. Great condition, about 2 years old, gigged but well looked after. Not sure what the exact colour is but to me it's sunburst. Lots of knobs and switches that do various thing like coil tap and things. Also there's a kill switch which is eternally useful! Everything's stock, not sure what the pickups are but they're the humbuckers that fender put in. Ask for more info! Will sell for around [s]£450 [/s] £420 (or a make me an offer) I'm willing to box it up and courier, I reckon that would be about £15 - 20 but ill get a quote if you want it shipped.
7. Getting together a rock covers band based in and around Bristol. We're pretty flexible material wise, but we want to get a decent mix of older and newer stuff, from Glam, Hair Metal, and Classic Rock, through to 90's Alt Rock, and a bit of decent modern stuff. We really want to focus on getting our own style as a band and playing as a tight unit, with some personality! We've got a female vocalist, a drummer and guitarist, so ready to rock! Just need someone to give us some bottom end! Backing vocals would be a bonus, own gear fairly necessary, and transport would be a bonus. We're all in our early/mid 20's so would prefer someone a similar age, but creepy old men with beards are welcome too! (Creepiness essential, beard not so necessary..)
8. Price drop bump! Now £460 to basschatters and basschattees!
9. Selling my Blackstar HT60, 1x12 guitar combo amp, its in great condition, only gigged once and barely taken out of the house! Only selling as Im taking up drums and need to buy a kit, so may be willing to trade for a drum kit. Lovely amp, amazing sound, goes from british growl, to american roar and everything in between, and the clean channel has an awesome boutique sparkle to it. Sad to see it go! Spec: - 60 Watt valve combo - 2xECC83, 2xEL34 - 12" Celestion speaker - Digital reverb with dark/bright switch - Speaker emulated output with 1x12/4x12 voicing - Cool vintage styling - Effects loop with effects level switch - 4-way footswitch included Here's a review: http://www.andertons...-1x12-combo.asp Collection from Bristol preferably, I'm willing to courier it if you pay the costs, i would imagine around £20-25 (its a heavy beast!) Pics on request, as i dont have any so will have to take some! [s]£500 [/s] £460 ovno
10. This used to be a Trace Elliott super tramp 212 guitar combo, but the preamp died in it, so I took out the amp section and have been using it as a cab. Albeit with a square hole at the top where the head unit used to be! It comes in a fetching British racing green tolex, and contains 2 Celestion vintage 30 speakers. Selling as I've got a new 112 combo so no longer need this. Pictures on request, I can't currently upload them to the site for some reason, but just ask and I'll send you one. £70, ,may consider courier-ing, I imagine around the £20-25 mark, but I'll have to get a quote if you're interested. If you want the speakers without the cab, then I'd be willing to take them out but would rather not...price will be about £60 for the pair plus shipping.
11. Looking to shift my Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass. Got it in 2010 the day it came out, after waiting patiently months for it! Black with Red scratchplate. Heres the spec: http://www.fender.co...rtno=0327900506 Well loved and looked after, but i've got a Jag guitar already so time to move onto something different. Pickup from Bristol (Or occasionally South Devon) Willing to courier or meet halfway (depending where you are!) Trades welcomed, will consider pretty much anything!

14. If this is still here on payday next tuesday...i'll take it!
15. Thanks guys, bit of an update, but more confusion..! I took it to my local shop, they fixed it up, said it was some fuses and just generally needed cleaning... He showed me it working, so I took it home... ...got it home, and lo and behold, im having the same problem again..! The only variables are the cab, speaker cable, and power lead, and I've tried all 3 with another head and no problem.. also tried different cabs and leads with this head with no luck... So...any more ideas..?
16. May be a silly question....but im a complete novice when it comes to amp repairs! The Story: I had an unwanted Maine bass head given to me today, as a new project..obviously its not fully working, but wondered if it would be an easy solution with basic electronics knowledge... I know nothing about the head, except that it looks fairly old, and can find nothing on the internet about Maine heads. It is solid state, and 4ohm...thats about it.. The Problem: When i turn the head on, plugged into a cab there is a very slight hum from the amp (not worried about this, because of the age of it.) but at least i know its not a cab problem.. There is no actual playing sound when the amp is switched on, but when I switch the switch off, it starts to work, for about 5-8 seconds, then fades to nothing.... The Question: Is this an obvious problem that i can fix with a soldering iron and a screwdriver...or do i need to take it to a proper amp-fixer? Any suggestions/pointers/questions/smart-alec comments much appreciated!
17. Would you be interested in part/ex some cash and a Peavey TKO 115? (The red and black one) ??
