  1. I have one, I got it when my ancient Fender Rumble 60 started to hatch gremlins. The weight (or lack of) sold it to me immediately! It's not as loud as the Fender, but has a nice growly tone with a dab of the 'spectralflump' or whatever the hell it's called. Build quality seems nice - (I took it to bits for no reason like I do with pretty much everything I own!) time will tell on the durability front. I use li'l combos as monitors with the PA doing the out-front work, so the on-board DI gets plenty of use, and I like the 'post FX' feature.

It ain't loud, though.  Of my 2 regular drummists it's fine with the one that likes to frequent jazz bands, there's even a bit of head room. With the Bonham fanatic, however, it's like it's not even on, even at full throttle. I had to buy a cheap 1x15 combo just hear literally anything!

I'm happy to share - but first I need to find a replacement for Photobucket - Am I right in thinking I can link to pictures in Dropbox?

ImgBB is working well for me at the mo.

I am yet to suggest a new song to my band that didn't feature on an 80's classic film. I really want to cover Danger Zone off Top Gun, it just needs some logical structure.

I have often wanted to do a covers gig playing tracks off all the Vietnam war films, then rip up that set list and do another gig of tracks off all the Tom Cruise 80's films.

The problem with a lot of XLR cable is that whoever makes them tends to cut all three conductors to the same length so any undue strain can snap either of the main signal wires.  The secret is to make the signal wires about 2.5cm longer than the screen and fold them back into the shell.  This way any strain is taken only by the screen which if properly soldered into pin 1 is much much stronger.  I always sleeve the signal terminals with silicon rubber sleeves or heatshrink.

This is without a doubt the single most useful thing I have ever read upon this thing called 'the internet'.

Have yourself a biscuit, sir.  A choccy one. In foil.

As you can see from the picture of mine, I've currently got the body rest but not the arm rest set up.

That's how I used mine, I had both, but didn't bother with the left one. I never had a stand for mine, so moving into thumb position mostly consisted of holding the thing up!
