Hi all I've playing bass for 16 odd years and I've always Used me fingers. I've been in a band for 3 months And were in the process of recording. I've been asked to use a pick as the music we play Is heavy, prog, it's not sitting right with me but they all Feel it's will sound better......... I would love to hear all your thoughts on fingers or pick If you have time. Thanks for reading Mark.

I understnd fully what you are saying Conan I have both on evilbay at the moment I don't think I'll Get much more than six for my rig. So as long as I take £350. £400 as well as the peavy rig I'm happy. The reason for sale is I joined a band and rushed out To buy some gear and were still in recording process so I don't need All this gear until we are playing live and once that happens I'll Be back On here to pick peoples brains on what rig is best Thanks for all the feed back on this my mind is clearer
Very helpful thanks. Think you might have bought the one I was looking at! good to hear you got it working and it sounds good. Also good to get an opinion from someone else that play's with two deaf guitarists! must be a metal thing :-) How would you describe the sound? I know it's subjective, but I have no chance of trying before I buy. Thought this might be the case, but I have had problems with cabs in the past (ashdown) that just didn't do the job!
tight and punchy the horn really helps if wanna cut through, if you can buy it and its in good nick id buy it!
