Have they stopped altogether? That's a a shame if so. I know they went through periods where they didn't always have a regular supply of them but they'd always turn up eventually.

When they stopped selling them at the time there was some story about it being to conform with new EU guidelines and that at some point a redesigned unit would be available to the market. Wouldn't hold your breath as it's been a while, I'd just cough up for the Diago if I were you - I did for my powerstation and 5 years on its still going strong.

little change to the PT mini...

room for one more, but so far this is working very nicely :)

    WANT your Russian so hard.

One space - octave/filter? An Octamizer or a 3Leaf Proton would be sick on there.

  3. Think this might be in the wrong section mate.

But in answer to your question, just try and relax and be as confident in your abilities as you can - if these guys are a good fit for you then you'll play well. I've always found, like in job interviews, that if you click with the other members you perform a lot better, so just rock up, take a deep breath and give it your best shot. Let us know how you get along.

Hmmmmm. I really liked the Fulltone Bass Drive (non-mosphet) but that's discontinued. The Xotic BB I'm told is close to it so tht could be an option.

I can confirm this is indeed true - eq on the BB is more powerful however which for me was a plus, as long as you only need one channel.

Sick boards by the way, whats the Zohar's Phase Shift? A phaser I'm guessing - can't find anything on the web about it.

The BB preamp has better top in my opinion but the fulltone is better on the lows, although I had the non-mosfet version which again IMO is a lot less whooly.

How come you found your Fulltone to be better on the lows? As in the sound or the presence of Bass? I mean the BB has the potential to have a ridiculously large amount of low end!

it is a tube-screamer based design... i sold my old bassdrive and got an xotic bass BB preamp

This is what I did - don't regret it one bit (I didn't use both channels on the Bassdrive really anyway). Also, the EQ is much more powerful on the BB.

  7. A volume pedal, an octaver, a filter, an overdrive, another fuzz, a delay, a reverb, a phaser, a chorus... pretty much most things can sound cool with a fuzz.

Generally I'll stack it with an overdrive, currently my BB Pre, or an Octaver, currently an OC-3.

  8. For an all in one solution, the B3 might be a better fit. I love my M9 for all its time based, pitch and modulation effects, but dirt definitely isn't its strong point.
