Okay, I've got another copy of this to pass on. New thread, or via this one?
-
I bought a string Very clean and quick transaction, no issues at all.
Thanks! -

As a massive geek, I wonder about lin-nux, vs. lie-nux.
However as we linux users never actually speak in real life, it's never come up.

What is this "real life" you speak of? -
I bought joeystrange's Vox Custom 3002. All as advertised, good communications, quick delivery; overall a seamless transaction. I'd happily deal with him again.
thanks

Where do you get strings to fit this elegant little beastie?
-
Thank you, gentlemen. Any guess at a sensible price for it? I'd be guessing at £150 max, if it's nice to play.

On Preloved, owner looking to swap.

Maybe he can't sell it because nobody knows what it is? -
-
You now have an interest in knowing what a reasonable price is. So it's not too surprising if you've now started to notice them, I'd guess.
But... I'd never heard of the Vox Standard till I bought mine, and literally two weeks later I saw another (in much better nick) on the wall of the practice room we were using. Maybe I'd have clocked it as "another bass guitar" if I hadn't just bought one, but I doubt it. -
That's a very nice looking bass
-
Tempting... I love my Vox Standard, which is definitely the intro model (P pickup, bolt-on). This looks very nice indeed (the eBay pics are worth a look).
-
You'd be better off sending him a PM - he's not likely to be watching this thread, given it's nearly three years old.

Withdrawn. And outdrawn

Ibanez GSRM-20, near mint.
Black four-string, 28.6" scale. Bought from Thomann a while back and never used (original strings, needs a setup, etc.). -

Ahhh right. It's so obvious once it's been pointed out.

On reflection, I think you were close to it first time... it's a towel rail -
It's for drying your socks, I think.

Had some double-bass and cello bits from Owen. All as advertised, smooth transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Owen again.
Thanks

I have to say I'm tempted.
I like the colour. It's obviously faded from the original red. Does anyone know how this colour will change in the future? -
Pics on the link are working for me
If I may:
- this has a built-in amp and speaker, is that right? Does it have an output jack?
- What's the battery requirement and lifetime?
- where do you get strings for it? 25" is _short_...
thanks! -

Was it deleted for the arguing - or by the OP for self-preservation?

I'm not sure he'd have worked out he could do that. He was new on TB, and probably on forums generally. -
That looks tasty
how does the "super detachable neck system" work? I can't see anything from any of the pics. -
Sorry to hear it
-
pretty
this is what my half-stripped Vox Standard is trying to look like
sadly it's out of my range, but have a bump anyway

Beatles, no contest. Though I have a soft spot for 'Live and Let Die'.
