1. Loooper 2 loop switcher - two separate selectable loops (switch between A/:), loop combine switch (wired in parallel) and tuner mute/send. All hard wired true bypass switches, top quality with LED indicators for switches (requires standard centre -ive 9v supply). See http://www.loooper.com/ for more details. SOLD

  2. First post here in a loooong time as I've just not been playing much at all and haven't found a band to play bass in since moving to Brizzle.

Brand new Bergantino NV610, it's been used a few times at rehearsals but never gigged in anger. I think there's one very small mark from getting it in/out the car before I got the cover for it. Cover is nice custom made jobbie with holes for handles and shorter back so that it doesn't interfere with the wheels.

£850 collection from Bristol or can arrange delivery/meet up depending on location and level of ball ache! I'm in Birmingham regularly if that helps.

Drop me a PM if interested (I check emails most evenings).

  3. You know, I'm really not sure that Acme cabs will get on very well with a valve head. Just a feeling from my experiences of valve amps with cabs that rely heavily on their porting for low end, they all just farted out really quick. That said, the extra excursion on the acme drivers would probably ease that somewhat. Just a hunch really (I used to have a B2).

  4. Besides, all my experiments with bi-amping ended up sounding either no different or worse than the full range signal - I strongly suspect that this will ring true for most modern cabs unless they have been specifically designed to work that way (like GK's).

  5. It's not all that simple - depends on how the crossover is sorted etc. I'd get in touch with Schroeder. Also, you'd need a 4 pole speakon or a second jack to connect it up. You would need to 'unwire' the cab internally!

  6. They were £169 when released IIRC - but this was nearly 10 years ago so with RPI (not Brown's CPI bullshit factor), this probably isn't much over the new rrp. £80-100 were the shop prices after said shops bought huge batches of surplus from Akai when they were dicontinued, in fact, I'd be amazed if there was ever more than one huge production run.

  7.
Cool. Looks like I've found another Aguilar GS412 now anyway. Sounds amazing with the V4 by the way, exactly how I'd hoped. Looking forward to a proper practice with it tomorrow, last one before studio time.

The VBC810 was at Fairdeal Music:

    Awesome, glad to hear it!
