From "Pickguard Heaven", in the US.
They had the template listed, so it was easy. Just select the material/colour, and it was with me within a couple of weeks.

Cheers for the details - bump!! -
Great basses type bump!
Out of interest, where did you get the pickguard from? I'm not too fussed on the checkerplate one on my SUB 5......
Cheers -
I'd be interested in seeing some pics of this one. What sort of condition is it in?

Nothing to do with me but saw this Fender Rumble on Gumtree in Banbury - looks like a good buy doesn't it?

Hi. Whereabouts in Surrey are you? Cheers

Hi.
Whereabouts are you located? -
I had exactly the same model as this 25ish years ago and still regret selling it to buy something 'better'. The bridge was pretty solid and retains the strings under the plate as far as I remember.
Have a nostalgic bump! -
mmm....curious now....
I've got a pair of Ashdown minicabs (1x15 and 4x8) which I do quite like. Has anyone by chance tried a Reidmar with these or have any opinion about that as a set-up. I'm currently running that with an Ashdown ABM500 head. Both cabs are 8 ohm.
I'd also be interested in knowing if I did change to a Reidmar and two 1x12" classic cabs if that would be sufficient to cut through and cope with a fairly loud/noisy guitarist who is unable to understand what the volume control is for. I've also seen thos Genz Benz Focus 1x12 cabs as a possible alternative to the EBS cabs if anyone knows anything about those.
Cheers on a lovely sunny day!!! -
This thread is making me want to spend more money I haven't got on more kit I don't really need!!!

Considering selling this again.....

Someone is looking for an EBS 1x15 in the wanted section.
-
I didn't actually ask him to change the listing, he did that himself and fairly quickly. So I'll give him the benefit of doubt.
Be nice if everyone on there would change their listings once someone point out an 'error'!!! -
I asked the seller and he said it is a Warwick Rockbass.

And don't forget that also whilst not knowing much about it he does know that 'It is certainly no cosseted bedroom bass - this has been a working musicians' instrument from new - it has been played, gigged, tweaked & upgraded (including a replacement neck with rosewood fingerboard) and has earned it's keep!'
Can't believe you can actually see where the old logo was in the photo!! -
Still something nice about the old Overwaters though
-
Crikey, that is a ridiculous price.

You can get control plates off eBay with just three holes in them that they have for vol, tone and jack. You could use one of these for your vol/treble/bass and continue to use the jack on the side of the bass. Just a thought.....
Here's a link:

If you do decide to split any of it, I like the look of the top scratchplate, some pots and the two silver tuners...
Cheers -
Used to be mine this one before I traded it with MB1 (for a ABM500 head). Cracking amp and faultless condition. If I had the room and money, I'd have it back!!
Have a bump -
Stunning looking bass!
Cheltenham Jazz Festival - Marcus Miller

Just got back (yes, I know it's still early in the evening..) from seeing Marcus Miller at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
Never seen him before and jazz isn't completely my bag, but both he and the band were incredible. Met him afterwards when he was signing CDs - really friendly guy as well.
Saw one band on the free stage who were also excellent. Might even head down there tomorrow to see what other bands are playing - well worth a look for anyone local.
