Hi! I'm also selling my Sound City 120.Great sounding with a looot of dynamic output. The design was made by Dave Reeves that later founded Hiwatt. It has 6 EL34. Particularity, it's an active EQ, you have to think about the bass/mid/treble knobs as gain knobs. If you turn it all down, no sound will come out of it, if you crank up only the mids, you'll have only the mids. Pretty unusual but you can achieve some amazing sounds. The preamp is a bit noisy, it's in the design of the preamp, Sound Citys are like that. Oh it's been fully revalved in august 2011. 750£ without shipping (I'm based in Paris, France) Cheers! Ouch my bad! I was absolutely sure the 750-A specs were: 750w@2ohms. Sorry for the confusion.... So mine is: 550w at 4ohms, 300w at 8ohms Sorry for the confusion mates... And yes, it has "the switch", positioned up to the power button.

Maybe there is a misunderstanding, my amp developps at it's maximum 550w at 4 ohms and can't go to 2ohms. And it's a new generation of alimentation, kind of a mobern TFB550B... Brand new, once again.

Hi! It's a lighter version of the 750 (with a 550 chassis) and can't go on 2ohms. But it has all the other features of the 750, that was the point. cheers!

I asked this to carry it easily on my back but by the time I received it, my band had a real rehearsal room where we can leave our gear so I am going all-tube.
