For sale here we have a lefthand mightymite p-bass neck, maple/rosewood. I recently imported it from the states on a night of drunken debit card shenanigans, and I'v since realised that my j-retro'd jazz is probally the only bass i'll ever need, so the pbass project is OFF. Its brand new, so im looking for £80 posted (all in all i paid around £135 including postage and duty so i think thats fair). The model is mm2906l. Also interested in trades on this, fx pedals, ashbory bass, studio gear, left hand stuff, thai brides, prototype time machines etc.... Collection/viewing welcome, im in southampton. Will post to uk.

It's my right to be sceptical of everything, I'm British. while we'r at it, I'd like a mix knob please. and some more flashing lights, and maybe an onboard vending machine serving sparkling beverages.

Eight shows a week and i change them every six months or so (actually it has been over a year on occasion... )
coated strings are great if u just like to fingerbang, but if you use a pick much you wil scratch the coating off and that aint nice. -
the most exciting new feature is that its true bypass, which is kinda lame for a 5th generation product. what i'd really like to see is a user defined harmony mode. wouldnt be that hard to implement

1983 aria pro II sb r150 lefthanded please god
-
still cant see it being any good for drop tuning unless they have dramatically improved the tracking
-
looks nice, wonder what the footswitch will do
-
and he looks so out of place playing with those guys, like some estate agent buying his sunday paper and tossing the tramps a quid. and a bassline

JPJ is defo dying his hair. why god why...
-
sure i like them, shame gibson/epiphone never made a lefty....
That covers the strings too - it's quite an extreme measure just so you can't see the writing on top of the pickup
ahh so it does. maybe some hammerite then? -
i guess if the seller was really sneaky, he could see what the buyers maximum bid was by bidding himself, then say it fell through and do a second chance offer.
DISCLAIMER - this is purely speculation and doesent express the actual views of cycrowave or basschat -
I always get that iffy feeling when I see strangely high priced things with that statement.
why so? -
hmm its a cliche but i guess its worth what someone wants to pay, and the leftys are very rare

i use one of these, great piece of kit. brilliant for recording into a computer with a dynamic mic like a 58, and of course for making your bass go donk

got a phone call from dhl saying my mightymite neck had arrived, and asking how would i like to pay duty. i agreed to do it online, did so 2 days before delivery was scheduled. anyway when they delivered it, they charged my housemate again for the duty in cash.....
so i called them up and explained the situation, and i had to go to the depot to collect the overpayment. they werent able to refund to my account. very annoying....
also they have a pretty dumb webstie, not user friendly at all. other than that service was fine
Tone, were they as bothered about it as us?
