  1. I'm putting these up here because after 20 years good service I'm hoping they will go to someone who appreciates them. If you like headless basses you will know the advantages: Great balance, lighter weight and most importantly they hardly ever go out of tune. I got these out of the loft and after 9 months they are still both in tune. Also unlike the smaller Sohners and steinbergers, you can play these really easily on you knee. As I now have a Status streamline, these 2 are just not getting played to warrent keeping them. Both these basses got gigged quite a bit in the early 1990'but haven't been gigged Bass 1: Black active 'The jack' bass with 2 humbuckers, active/passive switch, 34" cale, headless. Bought at the bass centre years ago, 2nd hand. It already had a quite major looking crack in it, but I played it for years afterwards and it plays fine. I had it set up last year by the guy at the bass merchant, frets were smoothed and everything checked and it worked fine. Missing one pickup screw (they lost it!). Battery cover on back is broken. Bass 2: Natural, stained brown finish. Passive, Headless 34" scale. 2 Humbuckers. Small scrathes, 1 small nick on back of neck. Rusted pickup plates, only one tone knob working. Also bought at the bass centre, but from new. Has a great passive deep dubby sound. Both of these play great, but would need to be seen, so cash on collection only. Happy to demo them. £150 For the Black one £125 Fot the passive one £250 For both. Both basses have cases. The Balck one has a very sturdy case. The Brown one has solid enough case, but missing one corner protector. Here are pictures of the Black one...photos of the brown one to follow.
  2. I bought this because my neighbour was complaining about the noise waking their baby, but they are now moving out. PJB Bass buddy, only 3 months old. Hi fi quality headphone amp. 5 band eq. Compressor, Active/passive input switch, Auz input with seperate volume control. Line out and even a speaker out if you want to use it as a micro head. Comes with all the gubbins it originally came with : Padded gig bag, Power cables and even the 2 9v batteries if you want to use it for busking. I even have the box. This is is Very good condition except for one tiny scratch on the top (3mm hasn't gone through the coating.) It's bomb proof and it sounds crystal clear. Sold for £160 or £150 for cash on collection. Cheers Drew
  3. Love my streamline...for the sound, the sustain, and most for it's size...I still can't get over how full it can sound when there is almost no body there.
  4. I've got 2 Hohner Jacks and the neck join on them is brillaintly not there. In the end every other neck join looked odd to me and my upgrade was a staus streamline (which is an expensive alternative to a B2A) as it is a one piece thru neck.
