2. If I had to split them I would charge £175 for the 4 X 10 and £75 for the 1 x 15. The reason for this being that the 4x10 is a genuine Jubilee whereas the 1 x 15 is a rebuilt Marshall 1550. What happened is that I bought the 1550 (back in the late 80's) and I wanted the matching Marshall 2 x 10. I ordered it from a local music shop.... When I turned up I thought blimey, thats a big box.... crikey it weighs a hell of a lot. When I got it home and opened up the packaging I realised that they had accidently send me the wrong cab.... and instead sent me the then top of the range cab.... I decided not to return the cab but rather got a carpennter mate to modify the 1 x 15 to fit. I later bought a complete Jubilee stack and discovered that 1 x15 had the same speaker (Sidewinder). Any way... I am the original owner of both cabs and have had them since the 80's. They have never been flogged and work perfectly. It would seem a real shame to split them especially as this is a really low price, and to be honest its really difficult to get a matching 1 x 15 Huw,
3.
I'm interested...but mainly the 4 x 10 as the size of the 2 together will have the band's van owner complaining about the weight.
The 4x10 is rather heavy compared to the 1 x 15, Where are youj based?
4. I have used my VBA with a single Marshall Jubilee 8 ohm 4x10 at practices with no problems..... I understand that problems only arise when the cab you are using has a lower ohmage that the head. Any way these are amazing amps... easy the best I have ever tried (that why I bought mine).
5. Soz Mate, apart from a session with Shakira, a glass topped coffee table, some baby oil and a vacuum cleaner........ the only things I want in life are an SPB 1 and a Marshall VBC 412 cab. However, once I have aquired my SPB1 I will be looking to offload the pickup the bridge, the scratch plate and possibly the machine heads, from a 2009 Mexican P bass? By the way I already have the glass topped coffee table, the vacuum cleaner and the baby oil and as such am not looking for these items by way of a trade.

SOLD

I got an alpine/artic white limited edition custom shop Epiphone Thunderbird...... I have modified it a little,,,, its got genuine Gibson Thunderbird pickups (put in professionally) ........ I sprayed the headstock white (nice job if I say so myself) and Iron cross vinyl stickers on fret board........ Ive used this bass more than any of my herd..... I used it when my old band played Hard rock Hell and the Head Bangers Open Air festival in Germany. It sounds great but since I bought my Gibson Blackbird it has been a bit neglected....... Now for the price bit.......... I bought it for about £275 about 4 years ago????? According to one I saw on Ebay thse are really rare and go for about £500. Now I reckon thats a crock of crap. Its a shame I didnt put it on my watchlist to see what it actually went for...... But the Gibson pickups cost me £100 so If someone offers me £275 I would accept the offer as this would assist me to gain the funds for a precision. I will post photo's soon

21. Want some Status Pickups, well these two do not match and are incompatible! Long story but, my Status needed a facelift so..... I thought I might as well get a Status P pickup in the front position.. So I bought this one diect from Status. Cost me £51 plus VAT so about £60 (Flogged the old neck pickup). So I had it fitted and it sounded amazing..... One small problem..... when you blended it with the bridge pickup it went out of phase..... Had all the wiring checked and re checked.... polarity reversed.... still the same. Spoke to Rob Green at Status and the end result is that I ended up buying two vintage pickups..... So these are just hanging around..... both work great independently..... but they need seperate homes. How about £30 for the P style and £20 for the J as it is a lot older (1990).
