1. 2002 Gibson Les Paul Studio. Wine Red finish with nickel hardware. USA Made. 1 owner from new.

This was my main gigging guitar in the late 2000s before I moved to mainly using an acoustic.

There are a few small marks on the front but there is buckle rash on the back but nothing that is through to the wood. The scratchplate (with brackets) and switch ring have been removed but will come with the guitar.

Original Gibson USA TKL Hard case, hang tag and wrench come with the guitar. Case has some wear to the edges and some corrosion on the fittings due to use and storage.

Asking £550 plus postage or nearest offer. Collection from Edinburgh would be great as well.

    Thanks

  2. My wife has decided I have too many instruments so a few have to go. First up is this slightly unusual instrument which I bought with great plans to learn to play but never got around to it.

10-string Cittern hand-made by Moon Guitars of Glasgow.

All solid woods - Spruce top, Flame maple back & sides, mahogany neck

Fitted with a passive pickup under the bridge (I believe this was done at the factory)

Comes with a good quality hard case, several dozen spare strings and "The Cittern Chord Bible" book.

Condition is well used - there is some wear and scratches on the neck and there is quite a bit of wear from strumming on the front.

Sounds really good from the small amount I can play on it (the mandolin riff from Maggie May mainly!)

Looking for £450 plus postage (although I'd prefer collection from Edinburgh if possible).

There are more details on the cittern on the moon guitars website : http://www.moonguita...andolines6.html

Please feel free to message me with any questions.

    Cheers

  3. Trantec ACCSJ-JAC cable. One end has a 1/4" jack and the other has a 3.5mm locking jack. 1m long. Also fits Sennheiser bodypacks with locking 3.5mm jacks.

    More details here : https://www.bluearan...?id=TRAACCSJJAC

This is brand new and was removed from the bag to check it was ok.

No longer needed as changed radio system.

Looking for £7.50 plus postage or best offer.

  4. I'm selling of my PA since it hasn't actually been out of the house for 2 years!

2 x Martin Audio F8 loudspeakers plus amp rack, stands and cables.

    Spec is :

Martin Audio Blackline F8 (not F8+)
    FREQUENCY RESPONSE (1) 70Hz-20kHz ± 3dB
    DRIVERS 1 x 8" (200mm)/2'' (50mm) voice coil LF driver
    1 x 1'' (25mm) exit HF compression driver
    RATED POWER (2) 150W AES, 600W peak
    DIMENSIONS (W) 299mm x (H) 435mm x (D) 269mm
    (W) 11.8ins x (H) 17.1ins x (D) 10.6ins
    Weight 12kg

4U Logic Systems rack containing a Crown XLS602 Amplifier, 1U Connector panels (with XLR in and Speakon Out) and a 1U Blanking plate - supplied with cover.

    2 x Speaker covers
    2 x Tripod speaker stands
    2 x Speakon leads

This makes a good acoustic or vocal PA, I did use it as a full band PA with a pair of S12 subs but I sold the subs a while back.

For some reason, I don't have a photo of the amp in the rack, I'll see if I can dig it out later and add another photo.

Looking for around £850 for the whole lot - I'd prefer to sell it all together if possible.

    Collection only from Edinburgh.

    Cheers

  5. Spotted this one - am tempted myself but have too many projects on the go already :

    http://www.gumtree.c...-neck/103540511

Late 90s Squier P-bass body & neck at £10 - might be a good start point for someone local.

    Edit - gone already!

  6. I'm part way through rebuilding a stratocaster (that turned out to be a parts-caster  ) that I bought last year and this scratchplate and parts are surplus to my requirements. All of the parts have been well used and have a relic'd look.

    What we have is :

1 x Might Mite scratchplate - black-white-black with HSS pickup cutouts. The scrachplate is pretty scratched and has a corner missing by the bridge cutout and a notch filed at the neck end.

1 x Seymour Duncan DDJ humbucker pickup - probably mid to late 1980s as it has the large Seymour Duncan logo but no "made in America" marking (see here for more details on the dating : http://www.seymourdu...ad.php?t=206111 ). The pickup has add a replacement backplate added behind the original as the legs had been broken off or removed at some point. There is some paint on the tape around the pickup. Includes mounting screws and springs.

2 x Black single coil pickup covers - no screws or springs.

    1 x Japanese 5-way selector switch (untested)

1 x toggle switch to allow coil splitting with the humbucker.

    1 x White switch tip

3 x white/cream strat knobs - they were white when new but have aged to a cream colour

Looking for £35 plus postage for the lot.

    Thanks

  7. Since I haven't used my rack in years, preferring to plug straight into the amp, I'm clearing out my rack units.

Zoom 1202 Multi-FX. Well used with some corrosion on the rear casing. With PSU.

Behringer Composer Pro MDX2200 - some marks but working fine. - SOLD

IMG Stageline MEQ01301 Mono 30 band eq - few marks but working. - SOLD

All £20 each or £50 for the lot (or nearest offer). Postage at cost or collection welcome.

    Andy B)

Edit - Postage per item would be £7.65 by standard parcels as the compressor and eq weight approx 2.2kg unpacked and the zoom is just over 2kg.

  8.
Do these need or have a controller..?
These can be used either with a controller or without. There is a crossover built into the back of the subs with an active/passive switch - active for use with the controller (which bypasses the crossover) and passive to use the crossover with the output going to the tops.

I don't have the controller and just used the built in crossover.

    Andy :)

  9. My current bass - 1978 Precision, refinished natural (detailed elsewhere on the forum  ), Pickups, body, neck, electrics original. Repro thumbrest and covers.

Old photo - the Nemesis has been replaced with a Marshall IBS head and DBS 1x15 cab now :) )

    Andy :)

  10. I've been sorting through my books and I've got a duplicate copy of this book.

1st edition, published in 1989 and written by Paul White, it covers effects and processors used in recording but many are also used for bass as well. Good overview of effects types and uses.

    £3.50 plus post at cost.
