My black jazz came with a black pickguard. The sunburst one came with white parchment. Couldn't be happier with both of them. I'm occasionally tempted by a Phil Lynott style mirror, but then remind myself that I don't have a roadie to polish it.

Hi all I have been playing bass for 25 years, mostly in rock covers bands, and currently with this one: www.therubb.co.uk I have two USA Standard Jazz Basses, an SWR rig and a handfull of effects. There's lots more in the loft, but more about that later. I have been browsing Basschat for the last few months and thought it was about time I got more involved.
