1. (Of course, if anyone wants to buy it from me for £1800, I'll throw in £1620.00 worth of plectrums...
2. Bump - open to offers (and if anyone wants to trade it for a white Hagstrom Viking bass, let's talk...)
3. Bump - now for sale WITHOUT the tuners, with a suitable price drop. Lovely neck - please take it off my hands before I start thinking about building another bass round it!
4. "Double Nickels on the Dime" by the Minutemen is probably the best place to start, and for his solo stuff, there's "Ball-Hog or Tugboat?" which features EVERYONE from '80s/90's American alternative music*, and "Tales From The Engine Room" which is his first "opera", sort of about his dad's navy days and sort of about the story of the Minutemen. *Seriously - everyone.
Without a full-time band, Watt recruited a wide variety of friends and fellow travelers to participate in the recording of the album. 5. Saw him last night in Glasgow - it was excellent! He's such an inspiring player and all-round great guy.
6. Bump, although every time I see this guitar, I wonder if I can get round the whole issue of having to sell gear to get more gear by simply buying more wall hangers...
7. At the point the neck meets the body, the neck is 2 3/8" (6cm).
8. Hi, I'll measure it this evening and get back to you. I've just had a quick check on the Warmoth site to see if there are detailed measurements, but unfortunately not for that bit of the heel. Here's the Warmoth FAQ: http://www.warmoth.com/Bass/Necks/faq2.aspx Cheers, Kenny
