Ha ha feel free to have old-git .. we can confuse them all
Right, maybe I'll go for yet-older-git!
And isn't that animation similar to a Deltic diesel?
(Which might just make me SadGit...) -
Ah well, times is hard, and space is limited, so I've sold off the Kramer and Yamaha, leaving me with just the Fender/Squier basses. Feels good, sort of lighter! Also sold a Squier Strat, but picked up a MIM Fender Strat instead...although I got it for less than I sold the Squier for...lucky!

Quite normal.

I'm gonna try and be there one of the days.
-
And it played and sounded very good!
Steal for less than 5 squids!

Welcome, L1zz1e, can't wait to see your 'new' Precision. I'm a big P-bass fan, as I hope my signature shows!
-
Welcome, from another oldie!

Welcome!

Well, my £4 Yamaha must be the least expensive bass here that wasn't a gift!
-
Way too early yet. If anything like the VMs, it might be 6 - 8 months. Hopefully not, though...

I like blasting away to Classical Gas, some Carpenters (Joe Osborn!), allsorts I've never otherwise played in a live setting. Very educational it can be, too.
What about you? -
You wanna play? So play! Doesn't matter what the gig is if you want to do it. If it's reasonably fun, and you don't do it, someone else will, and he/she'll be getting what might have been YOUR money!
Sadly I have my parents down who would not cope with it otherwise I would have been keen. How is the shoulder shaping up?
Pretty well, should be fine! -
Howdy!

Ah, another P-bass man! Welcome! Don't know enough Skynyrd yet, despite pumping out SHA for many years!
-
That's it at the end of the day. If you had to make a living with only one bass, this is the one most would choose.
-
Above all, it's supposed to be enjoyable! Don't panic too much, whatever happens, and HAVE FUN!
Am I?

I never go gigging without a backup, so two basses is a must. If one's duff, I STILL need to go out with a backup, so three is totally justifiable. Beyond that...And I just went down from five to three, so, back to balance!
