Advice needed on finding fender jazz parts

Im currently interested in buying fender jazz parts and creating my dream j bass and have a luthier put it together for me. Im in need of help with particular parts.

Im wanting a maple 75 jazz style neck with the block pearl fret inlays (similar to the marcus miller neck), ive seen copies of this neck to buy but I want a legit fender one. Is that possible, and if so any idea where to get them?

I also need advice on where to get a jazz bass body and where I should go to get it painted professionally the colour I want (shell pink)

You can't buy a neck from fender so you'll either have to have one made by a luthier or get one from something like warmoth which will be costly. Or you can try and source a jazz with the neck you want as a base and go form there, maybe using a Marcus jazz or if you can find one a Japanese 75RI.
If you want to go cheap then the new Squier 77 has a maple blocked neck.

+1 on using a Jap 75RI as a basis. Get one in natural so it's definitely ash, unless I'm mistaken the others can be basswood? I don't think it sounds as good as alder/ash.

A lot of the parts you want regularly crop up on EBay. Occasionally a bit overpriced but you should find everything you need there. There are also unfinished bodies which you could buy & take to somewhere like SIMS to get finished in shell pink. Good luck with it
