Hello I'm sure I have seen this somewhere, anyone have something I can print off as I will be away from my bass for a few days this would be a good time to practice some theory by working out some chord box patterns, also a blank tab page would be useful as well,

Answered my own question, check out this site loads of blanks for 4, 5 & 6 string, mike b

Wouldn't you better with a plain manuscript book?
That way you would be able to write the actual notes down which would be a much better way to 'practice some theory',rather
than just memorising chord shapes. If you write down the actual notes, you will get so much more out of it.

Yeah I know that, but I still think it would be waaaaay more beneficial to write out the chords on a
sheet of manuscript paper rather than on a chord box. I think that you would get a better knowledge
of the notes within chords this way and would be able to transfer them all over the neck, rather than
viewing the chord as a more restrictive 'shape',which is what chord boxes generally do.
