I've just wired in a Wizard Thumper to my P Bass but the volume doesn't work properly and it doesn't turn the volume all the way off. I'm using a CTS 250K Audio taper Pot and checked the wiring compared to my other P bass but have no clue why the volume won't shut off completely. Any ideas? Ou7shined Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 Did you have to solder an earth wire to the outside of the pot? If so you may have overcooked it a bit. De-solder the terminals an test them for resistance with a multimeter. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
