hello all,
In a fit of gas I picked this up on ebay a few weeks ago:

I'd been hankering after one of these for a couple of years since I played one at the Gallery. Really nice fretless for the money, or even for double the money. 1 minor ding on the bass, as I was informed by the original owner, but I've not been able to find it yet! Other wise in 9+ (out of 10!) condition, as expected from a bass of this age (about a year old) thats not had a great deal of playing time. Some minor marks on the finger board, typical of a fretless having been strung with round-wound strings.

I've set the bass up since I got it, truss rod adjusted, lower action etc, and not sounds/plays as a fretless should IMO :)

I paid £380, and looking to recoup as much as I can (so thats what I'm asking for), but the price isn't firm, so offers will be considered (anything over £300 will get my attention for a quick sale), but please no trade offers. Very basic gig bag included.

Pickup preferred in West London, but I do travel to North and South Wales fairly often. Also pickup possible during the week near St. Pauls/Mansion House area of the city. Prospective buyers, are obviously welcome to come see/try it.

I'm selling because despite the awesomeness of this bass, I find that the string spacing is just a little too tight for me, I think it's 16/17mm at the bridge, and I've become accustomed to 19mm. Plus, I really shouldn't have bought it in the first place, as I knew full well that I was possibly going to splurge on a dream "mid-life crisis" bass.

Anyway, there you have it. I'll try to get pics up in the next couple of days. Otherwise the previous owners ebay pics are pretty good, and nothings changed since then.

Cheers, and have a great weekend!
G

EDIT: having had a think about it £325 takes it, collected from me in London.
