Ashdown MAG full rig FT feeler

Ive got here an old (english made) Ashdown rig consisting of:-

Ashdown MAG 300 head (English made and NOT evo model)
Ashdown MAG 410 deep (old style grille with carpet covering)
Ashdown MAG 115 deep (old style grille with carpet covering)

All in great condition. The 410 is a bit older and has a couple of very slight knocks but nothing major. The 115 is pretty imaculate. The head is fine other than a few marker pen marks to denote past settings.

Ive recently developed major GAS for a Barefaced vintage to pair with my Hartke HA5500. So anyone has a Vintage and looking to do some kind of exchange for the above rig let me know. Will also maybe consider a Marshall DBS7152 cab.

Pics to follow as soon as my kitten returns my camera memory card!

Any questions please ask. Based in Bolton by the way.

Cheers

BUMP, willconsider selling as well. Rather not split at the moment tho, id say the 410 is worth maybe £100, the 115 about £75 and the head again about £100 so offers in this region would be great
hey man
you still looking to sell the head?
could i have some specs of it aswell

cheers Aaron
Hello Aaron.
If the 1 x15 is 8ohms, sell parts of your anatomy to get that and the head.
With your 8ohm 4x10 you will have an excellent rig.
Good luck!!!

Karl.

PS, sorry for thread hijack!!!

Not at all mate, im lookin at some of Thornybanks cabs so the rig might be back up. Anyway, the head is NOT the newer evo model (which are smaller, tolex covered and have a buit in compressor i believe). THis is UK built and has been gigged. Works fine but does have marker pen marks on the front to remember settings. Carpet a little bit bobbly but nothing major. Specs shamelessly stolen from one the same on ebay....

307W RMS power
Bass, middle, and treble controls
Rotary controls for 15dB of cut/boost at 220Hz and at 1.6kHz
Front panel shape switches for Bright and Deep settings
Ashdown's acclaimed subharmonic generator for enhanced low-end response
Active and passive bass inputs
Effects send and return
Tuner/line output
Balanced DI output

 • 1 month later...

Back up for trade with pics to follow. Looking for a vintage style 2x15 cab or anything kinda 'mixed' cab i.e the ashdown ABM with the 15 and 2x10's etc. Really something with major low end and punch of around 400w to go with the Hartke head. Must be local(ish) to Bolton but i do travel to Birmingham a lot so that could be an option too.
