Sold it to pay rent 15 years ago, for £150.00 And my vintage Fender Bassman head, stolen from me by Andrew John Preston, of Andy's Guitars. The fact that he is now a bankrupt is no comfort. Got given a beat up old 12 string acoustic while travelling in Israel by another traveller who was going home and didn't want to take it on the plane (back in 1988). It really was knackered and dirty as hell so sat in a corner until I decided to take a trip into Jerusalem and get it cleaned up. The shop owner nearly crapped himself when I walked in with it. Turned out to be a D'Angelico and he offered me £2k on the spot. Being a hard up traveller I nearly snatched his hand off!! Turns out it was worth around £10k!!!!
