I've got a Shark and a Groove. The Shark is really nice to play, lovely neck, light and a nice tone - not the most powerful but still a cracking bass - "Made in England" The Groove is another thing entirely. One of my true favourites. The right weight, well balanced, great neck Passive + Active. this delivers a real PUNCH with a capital P! Always brings a smile to my face. Was going to gig mine on Saturday but broke the A string during a tune up. There doesn't seem to be much on here about The Groove - can't be many out there or people are trying to keep the secret to themselves. Well worth a punt on either IMHO. Went Cheap ish in my opinion, for the quality of bass it is. Very Cheap if it had the original Hiscox/Status case. Better luck next time.
