dudewheresmybass Posted May 28, 2010 Share Posted May 28, 2010 (edited) well.... i visited the Stompbox shop yesterday, after hearing they had the new MXR bass envelope filter in stock. I can tell you i wasn't disappointed! This pedal is everything i wanted from a filter - solid, wet, adjustable, versatile etc..... within a couple of minutes, this was mine! I also got hold of the Black label chorus. It seems to be a clone of the old analogue CE5 and is the new addition to the Zakk Wylde MXR line. This thing is awesome. I have always been happist with either the CEB3 or CE5. This pedal just sounds great. Lots of control, but the basic voice of the pedal is really sweet. I'll post some more thoughts later once i've had a good chance to really spend some time / shows with these. Apologies for shonky iphone pics!
