If you've not seen these before then you can check out Damian Erskine demonstrating how clear chords sound on these basses:

Also it's the bass that Todd Johnson based his signature model on, so that sounds as good as the same as this too.

General Review
This bass is unbelievably easy to play; I think this is mostly due to the neck. It is very slim front-to-back and also has a narrow string spacing of 16.5mm. I never thought I had any problems moving across the string on my other basses, but when you play this it is so effortless it makes 'normal' basses feel very agricultural. It also has a super-low action and is easily the most stress-free bass I've ever played. I think this is aslo light weight, for a six-string which makes life generally easier. It's 4.36kg or 9lb 10oz. Reading dots is also made easier as you hardly ever have to change positions, it's like being able to reach the 9th fret whilst in first position, magic!

Momma didn't raise no fool! If it's sooooooooooooooooo good then why are you selling it?!
I bought this for a jazz project that I was getting involved in, but we couldn't find a drummer :) So now I'm the drummer as they have found another bass player, who annoyingly can't play drums (hey, at least I'm not playing a g**t*r instead!) And sadly he's happy with his current bass guitar.

I think these are closing in on £3000 new (See here)
Not really looking for a trade, but if you want to try me with a lightweight combo like a MarkBass or similar plus cash, or a nice cab. maybe even a nice head? Not really after another bass... but you can always try me! I do like a nice jazz.

Now includes a free hardcase or pro gig bag if it goes for the asking price.

It's the kind of bass that would suit someone important enough to have a title as grand as 'Global Moderator'! Oh, suits you sir...

I've received quite a few offers of trades and have to say I'm tempted by one of them... keep the bass amd amp/cab/combo offers coming! :)

Also new photo of the neck profile added above as requested by a basschater. Also a photo of a ding on the top of the headstock, luckily it's where you don't look and it doesn't show up because it's black, all the same I'll include a hardcase or pro gig bag if it goes for the asking price.

(I had a dream last night that I received a PM telling me to stop bumping my ad! )

You missed nothing, it is the same bass, which I've owned since Easter.

Sorry guys, Didn't realise I'd missed the price off! Thanks to everyone who has pointed it out to me... One of the disadvantages of using an iPod for editing ads.
