A question for the headless ones

Recommended Posts

I was wondering,if anyone's converted their headless basses to the above, and what's involved.
I already own a 5 string, but I'm more used to headless basses overall.
I assume the truss rod will need adjusting , and maybe the nut altered to accomodate a huge B string.

One thing I was wondering is, will this affect the value of the bass? (not that I intend to sell)
Don't really want to buy a different bass(ie hohner/Spirit). I'll probably persist with the
Schecter 5 string I have(unless I see another Steiney or a kubicki).

I'm rehearsing in small rooms with the band at the mo',and as we have 2 guitars and bass on

a small stage, I would like to move around a little :)

Let me know what you think

Cheers
