xzodar Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Up for sale is this great example of an SX Precision Currently strung with Status Hotwire flats and has a spiral barreled bridge and a Wizard Thumper pickup. Originally bought from another basschatter (neilb) who will attest to how great this bass sounds I'm sure. :-) I believe the bass was shipped from Rondo Music in the US. This bass has been mainly used for home practice and for a couple of gigs playing as part of the house band supporting a local choir. It's great and gives a lovely thumpy sound, but I've decided that I prefer jazz style necks and as I've just recently aquired a new Mex Classic 70's Jazz this just isn't going to get the use it deserves. The bass is in excellent condition with just a few light scratches on the pick guard and a tiny tiny dent in the top of the headstock (which isn't really worth mentioning but means I can't list the bass as 'mint' :-) ) (It has sold me on flats though, so I'm definitely going to string one of my Jazz basses with flats). I'm looking for £130 collected or P&P at cost. I'm willing to arrange a meet up to 1 hours drive from Bristol if that helps.
