Kraken Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 ok I have a couple of 5 String basses and for some reason (That escapes me right now) I thought it would be a good idea to have one of the songs that we recently wrote tuned AEADG. now I know that Hipshot (amongst others I am sure) do D-tuners that will take an E String Down to a D. common sense suggests that this should also work for a B to A detune, but I thought I would ask you good people before committing myself to the purchase.
