thumperbob 2002 Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) Hi All Am selling my Marshall VBA 400 valve amp. Very Loud, Tone to die for but unfortunately very heavy too. I am using my MarkBass LMK on all the gigs I do now so dont really need the power. We have bought a powerful pa so only using my bass rig to monitor. This is the real deal- best tone I have had- lovely warm sound using either my Warwick or Jazz- probably better with an old school bass- just has that indefinable `vibe`. Absolutely mint- bought new by me about two years ago- no issues- havent used it on too many gigs and always transported on the back seat of my car- so no knocks- treated with respect like a baby. Really, Really loud! Looking for £650- I think these are now £1100+ so bit of a bargain- probably fine for a fit person with no back trouble!! May be willing to trade + cash for quality high end 5 string Jazz- not Fender- I have one of those- its really heavy so pick up only I`m afraid.
